Covid19 precaution in place. Our home sits on a 2-acre country lot with beautiful gardens, walking trail in the woods, we are located just 1 km from Trent University. City of Peterborough and the Village of Lakefield. Our home makes the perfect location for visiting family at Trent U, Professor's that need a weekend place to lay their head. Hockey tournaments great for the grandparents or simply a Great Get away to explore Peterborough and the Kawarthas. Come and Enjoy making memories.
“We had a great stay at Larry and Donna’s place. The space was beautifully decorated (lots of attention to small details) and very cozy for a couple’s getaway. Everything was incredibly clean. The bathroom was gorgeous and had everything you would require to enjoy your stay (amazing soaker tub with epsom salt, rainshower, neverending supply of towels, shampoo and the works). The gardens were beautifully kept and had so many cute little areas to spend time! We had a great time in the pool and enjoyed making our own cocktails to drink by the little bar stand. It felt like a resort! Larry and Donna were so attentive and willing to help us throughout our stay (recommendations for Peterborough) and were even kind enough to bring over delicious fish for us and flowers from their garden! Wow!!! Talk about caring hosts! We really enjoyed our conversations with Larry and Donna and also appreciated the privacy they gave us. We can’t wait to go back and would not hesitate to recommend this place to everyone!”
Bright, clean, private, art-filled oasis with walkout to your own back yard, deck and patio. A short walk out the back gate you will find a beautiful waterfront park on the Otonabee River to enjoy. Take a leisurely walk to Peterborough's downtown arts scene, cafes and shops or just relax in the private garden or indoors with a good book or a movie. In the immediate area you will find restaurants, farmer's market, corner stores and a short walk or drive to Lansdowne street.
“This was the perfect spot for us to stay while visiting family in Peterborough. As for the City Oasis itself, every moment we spent there was pure pleasure. The interior was furnished beautifully with original art work and current reading material and books available throughout the space. The kitchen was fully equipped, spacious and spotless. The outdoor space was a delightful sanctuary, perfect for morning coffee. Heidi & Colin thought of everything. Many thanks to them for creating and sharing such a lovely place 'to hang our hats'. Lovely private apartment. The self serve key-less entrance to the apartment is up the home's original staircase from the front door. The one bedroom has a king size bed with along with a full closet. The bathroom is updated with a large tub with shower . The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, and is fully stocked with a Keurig coffee maker, kettle, pots and pans. The smart tv contains Netflix in the bedroom and the TV in the living room has Shaw Direct and Apple TV, Netflix.
“Clean and comfortable place to stay! Easy directions to self check in! House is across the road from a baseball diamond, nice quiet road. The bed and pillows were awesome! I had to drag my fiance out of bed (he did not want to get up because it's super comfy) Highly recommend if you need a place to lay your head with some great amenities. Thank you again Robin & Rob! If we ever need a place in Peterborough again we'll be booking to stay here!”
