I stayed at this beautiful Airbnb in Sukhiya Pokhari for 9 days with Manisha and Zikmi, and honestly, it was one of the most memorable trips I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home—thanks to the wonderful hosts who were not just helpful but also incredibly fun, warm, and full of good vibes. The property itself is nestled in a peaceful village, surrounded by lush greenery and absolutely breathtaking views that made every morning magical. The food they served was delicious—home-cooked, fresh, and made with so much love. Every meal was a delight. Their hospitality was exceptional—every little need was taken care of with so much care and attention. i never felt like a guest, but part of their home. The memories I made here will stay with me forever. If you're looking for a tranquil escape with heartwarming hosts and stunning nature all around, this is the place. Can’t wait to go back!

Tranquil, that's how I felt at Eshab's Homestay. It was really a home away from home. The friendly doggos and the ever so attentive staff were always ready to assist with a smile. Food at the restaurant was delicious, the never ending cups of steaming hot milk tea, the drizzle of the rain and the cold crisp air was perfect indeed. We were regaled with karaoke at their bar and restaurant, and on our last night, upon the owner's insistence, we even gave it a shot! We stayed for 4 nights and it was worth it. We did a fair bit of sightseeing (Pelling, Chakung etc) and leisurely walks up to the monastery and the falls. They even provide you with umbrellas! Everything was well managed by the kind staff - Alisha, Rohit, Susma, Kabita and a few others including the happy and helpful young men who drove us around ( namely RK, Pasang and Tashi) - and the pleasant and chatty owner, Kesang's dad who was a total sweetheart! Will say it in short, it is home away from home. The property is beautiful, peaceful and very clean. The view is mesmerising! Just the road to the property is still under construction. But, the journey is worth the stay at Trouville Farm! Prazual, despite his family emergency never delayed in responding! So was Gopal da and Pemba... very helpful and very polite! Lovved the whole staycation!

The Homestay - Humble. If you're seeking peace and tranquility, you must come here. Sit by the window and all you see is the lush green panorama, all you hear is the endless chirping of birds. And when you see the clouds rolling in through the valley, you may never want to leave. The Host - Like a brother, he took care of us. Prakash bhai was there when our flight was hours late and we arrived post midnight. He did complain a bit, but that's his pahadi sense of humour. Never said no to any requests/demands. He offered us snacks+coffee+rum, and did not charge a single penny more, even though all of it was out of his meal plan. And he suggested us hikes/treks around Gurdum. This is where Chandan bhai comes in. The man not only cooked for us, but was also our guide on a short but thrilling hike to Dumbarkhola falls. Amenities - Basic. Clean room, delicious food. If you're a yak/pork lover, ask for it. 3 meals, 2 tea+snacks per day is offered at ₹600. Come here, rediscover yourself.
