We had a great time at Marie's place. Wishlist of our trip for accommodation but also the place! everything was great! the apartment, the terrace, the air conditioning in the bedrooms, very few mosquitoes. In addition, Marie's mom prepared us to eat every night and it was super good! I would highly recommend this additional service. Village du Morne is very nice, with a few local restaurants to eat, a few convenience stores. We'll come back to this address!

The Villa is amazing. Very peaceful, safe and has a beautiful beach front view. Its extremely spacious with a huge living room and dining. Kitchen has all the amenities required. The best part is the outside sitting area where they also have an 8 seater dining table, where you can sit and enjoy the view of the calm beach. The view of the sunset is breathtaking from here. Swimming pool is very clean and regularly maintained. Master bedroom is quite big. The host of the villa Asvin, is extremely helpful and friendly. Him and the manager Sudesh made sure that we checked in properly and made sure that we were comfortable during our entire stay. Some good restaurants to try, nearby, are Village Cafe (Bf) Chessy Latte (Pizzas), Happy Rajah (Indian) and Chamarel Panoramic Viewpoint Restaurant (Amazing view). Grocery store, London bay, is also very nearby. Overall we loved the place and had an amazing time at the Villa !!

The perfect accommodation we found in La Gaulette. It's close to Le Morne, close to Kind Coffee, a good specialty coffee shop, close to Chamarel, and from here we explored all the southern part of the island. Vinesh and his father are the most amazing persons we've met in Mauritius. Since the day we booked online, we kept in touch online, Vinesh recommended us a good rental car company (R3) and he gave us other local tips. You will not find another host like him, for sure. His father offered us traditional homemade Mauritian snacks (samosa) which were delicious. They are both very attentive and they solved all the requests we had. The studio is spotlessly clean, the Wi-Fi is stable and fast, the courtyard is nice and you can park the car there. The washing machine and the detergent were really helpful. The check-out was flexible and we are really grateful for our stay in La Gaulette.
