Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Pittsylvania County

A great place to stay for our family, we were in town for a wedding. Everything felt very clean. We enjoyed playing centipede on the arcade machine and the fire pit on the back deck at night. Highly recommend Kyle’s Place!

Sarah, with All Belong, was magnificent! Everything at their property was perfect from the moment we walked inside. If we had a question, we had an answer within minutes via text, which was perfect! We stayed at the Southern Guesthouse for our daughter’s wedding. My husband & I, along with our 5 children, their 4 spouses, and 2 grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed their home. We all slept comfortably and enjoyed the privacy of our suites. Every detail had been thought of, towels for the hot tub, keurigs in every bedroom, shampoo, conditioner, body wash in every bathroom. Every room was spotless! The decor was stunning! Every room was beautiful, comfortable & functional all at the same time. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Their wedding venue, Southern Granary, was gorgeous! Our daughter’s wedding was a fairy tale for her! I cannot recommend them enough! You will not be disappointed by the level of organization, beautiful decor, and kindest follow through by their company to take

More than exceeded our expectations! Even more beautiful than the pictures! We wish we had found this place when our first of 3 went to Liberty University, rather than for the graduation of our youngest. Our stay was too short to fully enjoy all the fun things to do ie on the lake and campfire. We felt like we could spread out with the four different patios/ porches, yet we could all come together and spend time in the extra large family room. Great place to walk - absolutely gorgeous! This place is amazing!!

This was our first trip to Smith Mountain Lake. We were in town for a wedding at Water’s Edge Country Club. This location was very close to the country club and wedding activities. The home has a beautiful lake view on a quiet cove without speed boats and jet skis racing by all day. The dock was convenient for swimming and relaxing. I had to call host Ronald upon check in with a couple questions and he immediately called back. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms stocked with towels. The only reason for the 4 star on location has nothing to do with the home, however there is a marina with a boneyard of heavy equipment that you pass through coming and going. Overall we had a great weekend.

What a beautiful place!! Our whole family loved the deck in the mornings! We had wonderful weather, and the views were just gorgeous as we enjoyed our coffee outside. 😍 Great basement with so many games to enjoy and room for everyone! The gravel driveway is very steep, but thankfully it didn’t rain while we were there, so we had no trouble getting in/out. Very clean, well-stocked house. The closest grocery store is about 30 minutes away, so maybe stop by on your way in. We would love to stay again sometime!

My family really enjoyed our stay.The house was immaculate and well stocked.The fire pit was a great hit as were the Kyacks and paddle board. The house is close to SML state park which we went to a number of times. the ping pong table and game room was also a hit.Megan is a very responsive host!

The home was as described, clean, and had easy access to main roads and local businesses. Check in was easy and the host was proactive and helpful.

This was an exceptional experience for my husband and I. Michelle was wonderful, informative and kind. We had not one issue the 3 nights we stayed. The view is amazing and this condo has everything you need to cook with, make coffee, and more. Super grateful for this experience at smith mountain Lake.

My wife and I enjoyed a quick anniversary trip here and we were 10/10 pleased! The room was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. The location is amazing, from the view to the convenience of the pool, and dining. We were even able to rent a boat on site which was very convenient. Overall we had such a fun and relaxing time, and Susan was very easy to work with!

We were so thankful for his assistance checking in and coming out to meet us and his flexibility during our stay. We will definitely be staying again on our next visit in the area. Thank you!

Our family had a fabulous time at One the Rocks. The setting was gorgeous, the kids loved the boathouse set-up and the house was very well stocked with everything we needed to make Easter dinner. We loved having the flexibility of the other cabin when our group grew. We hope to come back next year!

Fantastic little hidden cabin that met all of our needs. We loved that it was dog friendly and isolated enough we didnt have to worry about a leash. The solar driveway lights were a great touch as we arrived late. The creek was a lovely suprise, larger than expected. The driveway is gravel and long, tucked in just like we like! Nice decks and seating areas to enjoy the view.

This cabin was exactly what I needed—quiet, peaceful, and incredibly comforting. Tucked away in a serene setting, it felt like a true escape from everyday life. The cozy interior made it easy to relax right away, with soft lighting, warm blankets, and just the right rustic , Every moment felt calm and unhurried. It’s the kind of place where time slows down—in the best way. If you're looking for a quiet spot to unwind and recharge, this cabin is perfect. I left feeling rested, grateful, and already thinking about my next visit.

Ms. Michelle hosted my team as we were in town for a tournament and we thoroughly enjoyed the large space with the nice bedrooms, spacious living rooms, and the hot tub. We had access to everything we needed, with Ms. Michelle even getting some extra towels for us. A great stay!

We spent the weekend here and all thoroughly enjoyed it. The house has plenty of space and all the amenities you need to get comfortable and relax. The outside is second to none as far as lake houses go at SML: fire pit, kayaks, beach area, picnic table, plenty of tree shade. The check in and out process is painless as well. Chad and his place are great.

Great place to bring your family and step away from the world. Peaceful and quiet with plenty of room for the whole family!

Ryan was a great host. Friendly and responsive. I have rented a bunch in places in the last decade and Ryan was the best host and photos match the reality perfectly. My family greatly enjoyed the experience.
