The cottage was built in 1945 on my family's heritage farm. She's located next to the old barn alongside a small Creek. The Inkling is a separate apartment attached to a Victorian home built in 1890. It is in a quiet neighborhood near beautiful scenic canyons. Close to Old Town Auburn, you may enjoy restaurants, antique shops, family-friendly activities, the American river, and many, many trails. It is less than .5 miles from downtown as well. There is an enclosed grassy area for our human and canine guests. We live in the main house with our two small dogs, Alice and Charlie.

Hidden retreat close to i80, downtown Colfax, and the famous transcontinental railroad (the Zephyr stops here). The studio is a separate building on half an acre at the front of the property next to the carport. We like to surprise guests with free-range chicken eggs and sourdough bread as available.
