Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Playa de la Barrosa

Everything is great. The accommodation is great, newly renovated. Best location possible, the beach next door. Quiet development, with many services (swimming pool, tennis court and paddle tennis) lots of grass and bar.

Lovely big house a short walk away from a stunning beach, plenty of restaurants and a few small shops that easily sell enough for breakfasts & lunches. The house is very well equipped - especially the kitchen - and the water purifier and ice maker within the fridge was great to have. We didn't hire a car, and relied on taxis to take us a bit further afield which were easy to book. A car would be useful if you want to use the house as a base to explore the area, but isn't at all essential. Communication with the host was excellent. Thank you for a fantastic holiday!

Everything in the house is new, and it's very clean and has everything you need and more to spend several days. The decoration is very nice and it's spacious and very comfortable. Too bad we didn't have more time to stay a few extra days! For those who know Vejer, they know that it is very difficult to park and a highlight in addition to all the above is that you can leave the car at the house and walk to the village without going up or down hills practically.

We had a wonderful week in Marta’s apartment. It is located in the heart of Vejer old town with amazing views from the fantastically well equipped terrace which had a space for every activity and weather condition. The patio downstairs was beautiful and the kitchen was well equipped with staples such as oils, vinegar and spices so we could easily knock up a salad dressing. The bathroom is beautiful with a lovely shower with both a rain shower and power shower head and Marta provided lots of towels for every occasion - big fluffy ones for the bathroom, yellow ones that matched the terrace and big beach ‘rugs’ and the bedding was good quality. For a compact and bijou space it is amazingly well thought out and equipped and we were missing nothing. As a host Marta was exceptional - she provided tons of information about places to visit and cultural events. Thank you Marta, we had a wonderful time and you were an excellent cultural ambassador

We really enjoyed our stay. We were there for 1 month and it had everything we needed. The garden and pool is huge and the house is really nice and modern. You can walk to the beach where there's nice restaurants, and there's lovely walks around. If you're wanting to go further out I'd recommend a car. Responsive and helpful host and Carmen was also really helpful and welcoming.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful beachside property in Andalusia! As a family with two young kids, we couldn’t have asked for a better place. The house was not only spotless and beautifully decorated, but also incredibly well-equipped for families — from thoughtful touches to practical amenities that made our stay super comfortable. Jose was absolutely wonderful and made us feel so welcome from the start. They provided fantastic local recommendations that really helped us make the most of our time in the area. You can tell there’s a lot of love and attention to detail in the way the place is managed — it truly felt like a home away from home. This was hands down one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in, and we’re already hoping to come back. Highly recommended for anyone, especially families traveling with kids!

I don't know where to start: The two brothers Angel and Jesus who take care of the house, the garden and the pool are extremely friendly and the most likeable people I have ever met. They gave me great recommendations for shopping and dining and were always easily accessible. The house is extremely clean, the kitchen is very well furnished and equipped, the garden is beautiful as is the location of the house. If you like to have your peace and quiet as soon as you come home, this is the place to be! I also really liked that the car is directly in the driveway, which is parked extremely safely through two gates. The Internet in the house is very good. I recommend this place to anyone with the friendly hosts from the bottom of my heart and would love to come back in the future! Many thanks to Angel and Jesus for the warm hospitality!

A very nice stay, in a very quiet area, with a lot to do, if you want : nice beach experience in El Palmar or the Cala of Roche - or otherwise the nice "tuna towns of Barbate and Zahara". The communication was ideal, with good tips. Her cottage is equipped with every luxury. Highly recommended

The accommodation is in a very nice and quiet area, surrounded by pine trees. It is VERY WELL equipped (I think it is the most complete accommodation I have ever stayed in) and super clean, which is to be appreciated. The beach and restaurant area is a 15-minute walk away and there is a lot of atmosphere.

We had a great stay! It had everything we needed and we felt very comfortable.

A wonderful apartment, to put some catch the TV in the living room pixelates a lot, but it is a problem of the narrow..., otherwise everything great, we will return for sure, many thanks to the owners for having everything so well and with so much taste.

We've been to Curro's apartments more times. And as always, everything is great. He is very kind and willing to do whatever we need. We will repeat again, sure.

We love love LOVE this place! One of our all-time air b&b faves. Location: close to the heart of the old town but on a quiet alleyway. Ease of communication and flexibility of host: excellent. Daniel let us check in early, and, when three fuses blew and we didn’t have power, he called an electrician immediately, and it was fixed within an hour. Most of all, we loved how the host has made the most of an unusual layout – a vertical one, in keeping with traditional Andalucian architecture. Entrance on ground level; bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen on the next level, and on the top floor, a small inside living area that opens out onto a large terrace, where you can admire the sweep of the town, with its Moorish fortifications and labyrinthine streets. Mounting the stairs to the top floor, you feel flooded by the light in this very special pueblo blanca, and when the breeze picks up, you feel like you might fly away to an even more enchanted land.

Such a beautiful building in the perfect central location. We were able to walk everywhere. The building is very safe and secure. The place itself is immaculate and well thought out. The classic architectural details with modern touches made the space timeless and beautiful.

A wonderful stay in a great apartment. Fernando was a welcoming and friendly host. We loved the layout of the apartment, stepping out from the kitchen onto the roof terrace for our morning coffee was fantastic. We had a great view over the town - and Africa on a clear day! Fernando’s apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Added to all this was the very central location - the best we have had in Vejer!

Alejandro was attentive as soon as we arrived and did not hesitate to tell us everything we needed to feel comfortable in the area. We had water, candy for the child, and he also had the thoughtfulness to leave us a bottle of local white wine. At no time did we feel uncomfortable, you can walk to the beach and the leisure area, there are food establishments very close and in the community pool there was a good atmosphere. We would repeat.

We had the most wonderful time with Nati and Jose Ignacio. They made us feel incredibly welcome, and we even ended up spending time together in their beautiful courtyard. They're warm, thoughtful, and cool people. They offered fantastic recommendations, not just for the area but for the rest of our travels across Spain. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. I’d recommend this stay to anyone, and we can’t wait to come back!

The ideal apartment for two people, with the space perfectly used. It does not lack detail and the patio is a great place, very nice for breakfast. Very well located in the center but on a street that is not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The host is very friendly! Attentive to everything, available and with clear instructions for self check-in. I would definitely repeat!

Excelent location for daytrips to Jerez, Cadiz, Sanlucar. ( 20min cardrive). Apartment fully equiped, clean and with stunning separate terrace. Communication with the host was outstanding! Highly recommended.
