Apartment holiday rentals in Playa Hermosa

We had such a pleasant time here. This was our second stop after our destination wedding at an all inclusive. This was the perfect place for us to relax into. The pool-gorgeous & perfect temp. Location- walkable and only like 6 min walk to beach. Room/cleanliness- great we were pleased when we walked in. Clean, cool and the bed was super comfy. Erika was an amazing host for us! We loved her. Didn’t use the house keeping as we were only there a few days but did use the laundry service. $20 a load washed dried and folded. Worth it to us.

Nat and Dane's Villa Vivos is absolutely beautiful. The included amenities were exceptional and our comfort was prioritized. The welcome basket is such a thoughtful inclusion amd we excited to cook our breakfast in the rancho. Everything was great, including their cute doggo Kiki, the frogs, and the geckos. As others mentioned, make sure to have a 4x4 for the ride up to the villas. The roads are steep in some areas but you quickly get used to it. We definitely recomment this beautiful listing.

In general, CR was more expensive than I would have guessed, which made Andrea's place an even better value than I hoped for. The unit is in a gated area right on a beautiful beach with a very active reef, and lots of colorful fauna. There's even a nice restaurant 100m away. We stayed much closer to home than we intended for the whole trip. If there was anything that might scare people away, there were several ant species roaming around the unit. It's a jungle, and they have wings, so what can you do? Nobody got bit, and they were individuals, not swarms. I also evicted a land crab that was enjoying the AC. I don't think you're going to find anything without an elevator and a lobby that doesn't have this level of intimacy with the local fauna. I would not hesitate to recommend Andrea's place to anyone.

Had a good stay at Lucas' place. Its a cosy, simple apartment that has everything you need, away from the noise of the centre but walking distance to the centre avenue and the beach. There is a good gym nearby that offer weekly and daily passes (if that's your thing). There's also supermarkets nearby if you need to stock up. Lucas himself is super friendly and always responsive. From the moment I booked his place, to the moment I left. He also owns a surf shop, which I recommend checking out. I went kayaking and surfed for the first time ever! Which was tough, but good fun. Overall it was a great stay and I'd happily do it again. Pura Vida 🤙🏼

Karene's place is absolutely amazing. The space was clean and spacious, very private and peaceful. One great experience I had: I was sitting by the pool and in the forest I got to see a bunch of howler monkeys in the trees. Karene's place is about a 20 minute walk to the center of town, I used the electric scooters which make it much easier to get around. The beach is also very close. Overall it's a great place to stay if you're visiting Tamarindo.

Had a great stay, the views were amazing! The only thing is there lots of stairs which was fine for us just giving a heads up to future guests.

The location is great, gated community that is safe. We loved our stay in playa coco and the community was great.

Sandy and Melissa have a great place within walking distance to the beach! the space has everything you need and is clean and easy to find. I would definitely stay here again!

Mark was an awesome host! The views from our balcony were phenomenal. We got to see the sunset every single night we got to hear howler monkeys and we got to see beautiful birds. Not to mention the beach is right down the street, if I had any questions Mark was available and usually would respond within 10 minutes. I would highly recommend staying in Los Alamos.

Excellent location, it is approximately 10 minutes from the center where you can find everything. The place has a beautiful view and everything is very clean and tidy. The condominium is very quiet. I recommend it and hope to come back !

The place is very close to beautiful beaches, without unnecessary noise, accommodation equal to what is offered on the page, clean, well equipped, very good attention from Andrés for all the concerns we had, the facilities very clean and safe. I would definitely come back in the future. It is advisable to have a high vehicle for these rainy dates, to be able to move within the area, since the entrance street is ballast

Kathy’s condo was in the best location with walkability to the beach and many restaurants. Everything was convenient. This was my first time to Costa Rica and seems to be common but there was no hot shower. It was non issue for us because it was pretty hot daily but didn’t have it on the radar because I am from the US. Everything was great and the host was communicative. Would absolutely stay again!

This is really a gem, great location, close from the beach and good restaurants. Good parking slot even for large cars, that is difficult to find. The host was really responsive, giving recommendations about local events, restaurants, etc. The Airbnb was as described in the pictures. I will fully recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing stay! The place was lovely — beautifully styled, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. The view was spectacular, offering a high vantage point over the beach that made every sunrise and sunset feel special. It's also in a great location, very close to all the best beaches around Potrero and Las Catalinas. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We’ll definitely be coming back!

We loved our stay. The condo was clean and very cozy and the Pacifico property is absolutely beautiful. It had all the amenities you need for your stay. Morning coffee on the terrace, overlooking the beautiful tree tops and ocean view is a great way to start the day. I loved the privacy of this particular condo. We will definately come back.

Great place to stay. Really 200 meters from the beach, perfectly walkable distance with children. Great pool!
