Holiday rentals with beach access in Playa Hermosa

This is our second time at Nick's place and it was everything we remembered. You can walk out the back patio and in 100 feet, go right into the ocean, with great surfing right there. Short walk to Tamarindo for restaurants and shopping, but secluded enough for peace and quiet. Several small maintenance issues popped up during the 10 days, but Nick responded in 15 minutes each time and the problems were resolved in an hour or two. Great host, great location, and great communication. We'll definitely be back.

Arcadia is the sanctuary you've always dreamt of, especially sunsets. I always made sure I was there to watch the sun go down, as that view is breathtaking. This place far exceeded our expectations, and the host was more than accommodating. Have and would HIGHLY recommend this remote spot, it is everything and more!!!!

We had an amazing and unforgettable stay at the Treehouse! Colleen was such a friendly and helpful host providing very detailed instructions and local recommendations. The Treehouse was immaculate, well-appointed, and had everything you need to feel right at home. We cooked breakfast and dinner almost everyday during our stay and enjoyed the spectacular view from inside and on the patio. The only challenge we had was fighting off the bugs from outside, but just be prepared for that when traveling to Costa Rica. They’re everywhere! We were also able to enjoy the infinity pool (all to ourselves in the mornings!) which was a short walk away. Overall, a very enjoyable trip to Costa Rica. I would highly recommend staying at the Treehouse if you like privacy, amazing views, and outdoor trails.

You will not regret staying here. My boyfriend and I had an unforgettable experience here in cocoa. The view really is that good & the pictures really are accurate. We came during the off season and got great weather, little rain but mostly sunny, and we are already rebooking during peak season. We fell in love with Costa Rica here. Thank you Dean! Lovely condo we will be revisiting soon! If you come you have to go to the restaurant Mar Azul right down the street walking distance! Incredible food great service.

100% recommended. The accommodation is as in the photos and the description, very clean and well maintained. Manfred was very kind at all times, the check-in and check-out was super easy and accessible. The area is quiet and peaceful in a local neighborhood of El Coco.

The apartment was just perfect for our week long stay. It was huge with plenty of space. The kitchen had all the things we needed to make coffee and cocktails. We even had a full size fridge. The rooftop area was an added plus. We hung out there at night and could hear the howler monkeys. The apartment is also a 5-10 minute walk to Playa Brasalitp and local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

What a gem. To see that view when you walk in the door is amazing. It’s a beautiful house with everything you may need for your stay. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and the pool is exactly like the pictures with warm water and bar stools to gaze out over that stunning view. The AC & fans do a great job of keeping you cool as a retreat from outside. We also loved the use of the beach chairs, towels and beach toys for the whole family. Our 3 small children loved it! We will be back!

Phenomenal stay! Stop searching and book this place—seriously. This house is absolutely spectacular—pictures don’t even come close to capturing how beautiful and serene it is. The view? Unreal. Just breathtaking. It’s only a minute walk to the beach and a charming local restaurant, and just 5 minutes to town and stores. Benton was amazing—responsive, kind, and incredibly helpful. He connected us with a private chef, in-home massages, and local excursions, making everything effortless and personal. We loved watching the wildlife—colorful frogs at night and giant lizards during the day—and the pool was the perfect temperature 24/7. This home is perfect for couples looking for total privacy, but we can’t wait to return with our kids next time. My husband and I travel frequently, and this was hands down one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. Thank you, Benton, for such an unforgettable stay. I can’t say enough good things about this incredible property in Costa Rica. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty and tranquility of the surroundings. The home is even more stunning than the photos—thoughtfully designed, impeccably clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying our coffee with a view of the lush jungle and distant ocean was truly magical. The pool was perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring, and the outdoor spaces made us feel completely immersed in nature. Our hosts were kind, responsive, and offered great local recommendations—from hidden beaches to amazing restaurants. Their hospitality made our trip even more special. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with a touch of luxury, this is the place. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

5 Stars – Best Airbnb I’ve Stayed In! This place was absolutely perfect! The location is excellent—just 50 yards from the beach, which made it incredibly convenient to enjoy the ocean every day. The home itself was spotless, with a beautiful pool and a well-equipped, modern kitchen. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Vidal was amazing—super helpful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Hands down, this is the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

This place was absolutely flawless. The beauty of the views, the pools, the shuttles were perfect! We cannot say enough kind words about his service and the home. His communication is amazing. He even gave us a wonderful recommendation for snorkeling and we had a blast.

Awesome place and great host

This place is fantastic, spotless, well equipped, secure, easy to access and a beautiful ocean view. The beach chairs/umbrella are a great bonus which we used to enjoy Playa Flamingo in comfort David is a generous, responsive host. Thank you for hosting us.

We love going to Reserva Conchal and Daphne's place had everything we wanted, from plenty of bedrooms, to a great location and view overlooking the golf course. Once inside the reserve, we had access to both The Westin and The W and all the amenities they had to offer. Great place to spend a weekend.

We loved our stay here! Diana’s home is lovely and welcoming. We enjoyed having all necessary items-including beach gear-and enjoyed the pool after our outings. Diana’s recommendations were fantastic and led us to several memorable sunsets and delicious meals. We would love to return. It’s a wonderful home base for exploring the north coast.

Great location, our only wish is that the property would have an elevator. Everything about this condo was exactly as listed, great private beach to anyone that finds this place.

Loved staying at Katie & Happy’s place! It was a little walk from downtown Tamarindo, but we loved making the walk and noticed a lot of people utilized the scooters all around or had rented golf carts, which we would have opted for if we brought our kids. They provided beach towels and chairs that we used often and a filtered water pitcher in the fridge so that saved us on purchasing bottled water, which was so helpful. There was a little market close by and several amazing restaurants. The pizza place across the street was the best pizza we’ve ever had and I went to the nearby snack shack for açaí bowls and coffee almost daily. Langosta was a beautiful area to stay in with close private beach access. We were also able to walk the beach to Tamarindo at low tide. We loved this place and location and would definitely stay here again! Thanks Katie & Happy!
