Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Playa Larga

We only stayed for three nights at Zenaida's and Pablo's but had a good time there. We were greeted very friendly with fresh juice and coconuts that grow in their backyard :) Pablo and Zenaida showed us around the house and their garden which offered many tropical fruits. They also have a very cute dog ;) The communications was a bit difficult in the beginning as we didn't speak Spanish and they don't speak English but we managed to understand each other in the end. The only thing you have to get used to is the very loud voices of the two ;) I definitely recommend that you eat at Pablo and Zenaida's, their food was very delicious, especially the breakfast was very nice. Pablo and Zenaida were very helpful when my boyfriend and friend caught a cold, they made them homemade medicine which was really good and we ended up using it even at home. They also helped us to figure out how to get to our next destination and even gave us the address of one of their friends in the area in case we needed any help there. All in all, we had a nice time at Casa Cocodrilo and would definitely recommend it. Pablo and Zenaida, thank you again for all your help and the good medicine!

Very simple bungalow right on the beach. Within walking distance, there are a few small shops and about three restaurants, all run by very friendly people. Overall, there’s nothing to complain about — this is Playa Larga in Cuba, so it’s best to read about the place before coming. This is definitely not for posh travelers looking for a typical beach holiday, but if you’re willing to explore this beautiful area, this is the perfect place for you. And we can’t forget MANU and his very kind family, who prepared delicious breakfasts and took care of us throughout our entire stay. Love you all, and hopefully we can see you again at some point! Lovely place to spend a few days, beach minutes away, town 20 minute walk. Very helpful friendly host and family.

The place is beautiful and very clean! Both rooms feature a bathroom and a fridge. Also, there is a room in the entrance very comfortable. It is just a few steps from the beach where you can get chairs for the day. There are restaurants and small stores nearby to get everything!!! Best of all: La Niña and Manolito, as well as their family are adorable and very good guides, they guide you and give tips to enjoy the maximum, they are good conversers and great hosts!!!

The house is right on the beach! In the neighboring house, there is a restaurant with tables directly on the beach. Giada is always very easy to reach and very helpful. Check-in was straightforward. The house has a very large terrace right on the beach and loungers on the sand. There are three bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and a very spacious common area with an open kitchen. In the morning, a delicious and rich breakfast is prepared! In the event that the power fails (unfortunately, that was the case with us), there are battery-powered fans. It is recommended to bring flashlights and power banks. If you want to experience the original Cuba (with all the advantages and a few disadvantages), this is the place to be.

Libbys is a great host! She provided a clear orientation and then helped us find transportation to the Cueva de los peces on the other side of the bay. Meals were excellent too. Great location and great value for a fun beach trip.

I am very happy to have found this place and stayed a few days longer than I originally planned. The Casa corresponded exactly to the description and photos - you could see the sea right from the bed. Everything was clean and there were little loving touches. Highlights were definitely the extensive breakfast on the terrace and the few meters to the sea. Riders was always easily accessible and helpful and had good tips for excursions in the area. I can also recommend the place, especially if you want to arrive in Cuba in peace and eat well. They were wonderful days - thank you so much!

Excellent simply decorated room, close to the beach (a ten minute walk), Gustavo and his wife are extremely friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is of very good quality. We regret not being able to book more nights for lack of time!
