The charming cottage and grounds were perfect for our quiet retreat in a beautiful, private, and natural setting. The cottage is tastefully remodeled with obvious loving care displayed in the elegant simplicity. We enjoyed every aspect of each well thought-out and tastefully furnished room. The cottage was spotless and fully supplied. The many large windows provide a feeling of spaciousness that brings the outdoors indoors. The large covered deck provides an appealing outdoor living area. The large and artfully designed kitchen window takes maximum advantage of the mountain-top view. The large rolling grounds are kept in a very natural setting encouraging you to stroll out to the pond or sit and watch the birds and deer enjoy the surrounding forest. The hosts were very communicative, responsive, and pleasant to deal with. The day of our arrival, they suggested an SUV to deal with the very steep paved driveway, just in time for us to switch our rental car to an SUV which worked well.

We had a wonderful stay at Cosmic Hollow in Pleasant Valley. The home was super private, cozy, and had everything we needed to have dinners and just relax. The grounds were super nice and we enjoyed walking around and looking at the old stone walls. We loved driving the country roads and going over to the Dover Stone Church. It was quite easy to get back over to the Vassar Campus. Our daughter graduated and we wanted a nice airbnb for the family. Disco ball was a funky touch. Thanks so much.

The residence is roomy. sunny, clean and homey with full kitchen and amenities. The property in Pleasant Valley NY is within short driving distances to FDR estate. Mills mansion, Washington's headquarters , The Culinary Institute and much more. If you plan to visit in the Dutchess County area, this is a perfect choice for a home Basa at a great price!
