Holiday rentals with lake access in Port Hope

This was without a doubt the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever been in! It was such a beautiful space. The view was unmatched and there was lots of room for all of us! We definitely plan on going back during summer months. May long weekend this year wasn’t warm and we would have loved to enjoy sitting out on that dock. Will definitely be returning!

lovely spot for some quiet outside time. backyard is spacious and welcoming. plenty of options for seating to enjoy sun or shade. kitchen was absolutely amazing to prepare food in, well organized and nicely laid out. rooms were tidy and clean, plenty of space to sleep 6 comfortably. would highly recommend this spot

This lakeside retreat was the perfect escape for our couple’s getaway! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning view of the lake. The peaceful surroundings and quiet atmosphere made it so easy to unwind and reconnect. The home itself is incredibly cozy, with warm touches throughout that made it feel inviting and intimate. If you’re looking for a serene spot to recharge and enjoy some quality time together, this place is an absolute dream.

Chelsea’s place was absolutely beautiful ! Upon walking in the house, the view of the water is breathtaking and did not get old each morning while sipping our coffees. The home itself was very homey, and a great wide open space for gathering with friends. Chelsea was super helpful when booking, made recommendations and was super responsive during our stay with any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here - can’t get much closer to being “on the lake”!

We stayed at Dylan’s place for the weekend with 13 adults and 4 kids. There was enough rooms and beds for all of us with adequate bedding and space. The house was clean and well equipped for our weekend! Before the stay we had lots of questions and Dylan was very responsive and answered everything in a timely manner and with lots of details. He was always following up during the weekend as well. The dock is beautiful and amazing! It was a bit buggy but that’s expected near the waters. We used the kayaks and boat and had a wonderful time!

Was a wonderful, peaceful place to be. Beautiful waterfront views and a well kept home and property. Rishi was extremely responsive to our questions! Very organized and detailed instructions made it really easy to access everything needed for our small vacation!

Carley's home was beautiful and very clean. Fully stocked kitchen with everything and anything you might need. the hot tub was very clean and private. beautiful home.

Loved this place. There was a great view from the balcony and the place was located very close to many restaurants and other activities. Matthew was very helpful and he responded quickly if we needed help with anything. Overall this place was great and we had such a good time here!

Annette's guesthouse was impeccable, modern. Martha Stewart pointed, and so homey. It was a wow! place. We could have just moved in permanently. Everything needed was there. Would highly recommend this airbnb without any qualms. A huge thank you to our Hostess, Annette. Gayle June 15/25

Angie and Julius’s condo was even nicer than expected! Was plenty of space for our family of 4. Very thoughtful hosts who always responded quickly. Highly recommend!

This is the second time staying with Marie and I have nothing but good things to say. It was wonderful. Marie is very fast at responding and very helpful. It’s worth the price and a lot cheaper than other places. It’s clean and has everything you would need. Definitely a new spot I would keep coming back to.

GPS found the place immediately. I like that it was a peaceful stay yet close enough to other houses as we arrived the place at 10:30pm. Kim is responsive and helpful. I wish we had time to spend at their yard! It was neat and beautiful. My kids would have loved it but we didn’t have time as we were heading at the conference the next morning. God willing, we are coming back.

We enjoyed our stay at David’s studio very much. Unfortunately the weather had been quite bad so we didn’t get to sit out in the backyard to enjoy the sunshine.

Great cozy cottage with a private lake entrance. Miles was a great host. Hot tub & sauna were very enjoyable and overall the place was great.

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. The cottage was amazing! We were comfortable our entire stay and had a wonderful view of the lake.

We had such a wonderful time staying at Rowan Cottage! It was my husband and I with our little Boston Terrier and everything was perfect! The place was spotless when we got there and the instructions to check in were very easy to navigate. The place felt brand new. It was just the right amount of space for us. It is a fairly private area and the waters were very peaceful, not a lot of traffic on the water at all! The views from the cottage were amazing - perfect for the morning coffee! Appliances were great, and the washroom was so clean. There were awesome board games and vinyl records to jam to. As well as a Bluetooth speaker to connect. We were never bored! For anyone looking to visit, there are a fair bit of mosquitos so remember bug spray! Overall an amazing experience and highly recommend!

We booked this cottage on a whim with virtually no notice to the owner who was flexible with our check-in making it worth our 1 night stay. The cottage is so spacious with lots of room to lounge, eat and sleep. It was clean and comfortable. The waterfront is the real MVP here - pristine water, pure sand, great doc and decks.

Erin’s place was exactly as described. Very well equipped with everything anyone could possibly need. We loved the clean white linens on all the beds. The sunsets were so beautiful. We sat every evening on the deck and watched the sun go down. We would recommend this cottage to anyone. Thank you Erin and Alex.

We had a great time staying at Caron's lakefront cottage! It was equipped with many activities and supplies. Beautiful sunset view. Prompt responses from the host in the event we needed anything (e.g. more propane for the barbecue). The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. We look forward to booking again in the future. Thanks for an amazing weekend getaway!

We stayed for my wife’s 30th birthday celebration. Alex was extremely flexible with an early check in to facilitate setting up decorations prior to her arrival. He was fast to respond and very helpful with any issues we had. The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed. I don’t think the pictures did this place justice, the view from the backyard was incredible.
