Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Positano

I enjoyed my stay at this home. The host and her father were such gracious hosts, her father lives nearby and checked in on me to make sure I had what I needed, even bringing me figs and walnuts from his garden. They apartment is spacious and comfortable for 4. Kitchen is wellstocked.

Best location and best patio in positano!

My wife and daughter had a wonderful time here. We cannot say enough about Francesco and Marco, who helped us out during our visit. From the recommendation of an awesome local restaurant, to helping us get into the apartment when my wife kept the key while shopping downtown. Thank you again Carlo! Pictures cannot do enough to convey the stunning view from the yard. There are nice gardens in the yard and there is an ancient path, with a church on the way down, that provides a short cut into the city. I had recent hip replacement surgery, so I couldn't walk down the hill, but my wife in her sixties was able to do the walk. The sunsets were gorgeous, overlooking the Bay of Naples, with Mount Vesuvius in the background. Extremely relaxing after a long day exploring. If we return to Sorrento, this will be the place we stay. Thank you to Carlo, Francesco, and Rosa for sharing your place with us. Grazie Mille!

Rebecca was amazing! We had a special celebration for a friend and asked her to get us a cake and she made it happen last minute! She also arranged for a private chef dinner one of the nights and it was absolutely delicious and perfect! The property was beyond gorgeous! So lush and green with views of the water as well! We would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a serene setting!

Lovely unit, Chiara and her father were super welcoming and kind, her father helped us finding the best restaurant. Everything is perfect! It's only 2 mins away from the entrance of path of the gods. Highly recommend!! The unit is cozy and very beautifully designed, we really enjoyed the stay!

The villa was really nice and spacious. Best part was the most incredible views of Capri and the water. Caterina was amazing, she was always checking in and helping us book whatever we needed. She went above and beyond in taking care of us and ensuring we enjoy our trip. Only thing I would caution is that the villa has a lot of stairs, so be prepared to do lots of stairs during your stay! Overall highly recommend and would book again!

Licia is the best air b n b host we have ever had! She made our trip seamless and was helpful in coordinating reservations and cabs. She is as very sweet and all of her recommendations were spot on. The home was even more beautiful than the photos. As the listing and many reviews state, it is at the top of Positano. The walk down was reasonable with many steps but only about 15-20 min to town. My mother was able to make it back up the steps one time but she did not prefer it and it took us around 45 mi, but like I said Lucia helped us coordinate rides and gave us bus instructions. There is also a nice restaurant at the top of the hill across the street called da constantino if you have a night you do not want to go to town.

We had a great time, there were 4 of us and the two bathrooms were essential! The view and the garden gave that extra touch to enjoy the stay. There are all the necessary services, including markets, bars and restaurants.

We LOVED it! Emiliana’s place was recommended to us by friends as the highlight of their trip. We, too, can say that her place is very special and it was such a memorable experience to stay there. The photos cannot do it justice, and somehow the 91 stairs from the church piazza up to the apartment felt worth it, every single time. Our host was friendly and easy to communicate with, before and during our stay. Emiliana shared a wonderful path up the Valle del Dragone to Ravello that was one of our trip highlights. She was very flexible with our arrival and was able to graciously extend our stay when we ran into an issue. If you have the chance to stay in this magical place , you’ll never forget it.

Valerio’s place was perfect! Very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The best part was the little extras like the snacks and even a bottle of wine, not to mention recommendations for restaurants and things to do! Overall, it was a great stay.

The location was great and Eva meet us. The treats, milk and juice left was really appreciated. Our grandsons enjoyed the foosball was great. It was great having a washing machine. The traffic noise was noticeable. Thank you from the Campbell family

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Luigi’s! We enjoyed hearing about the history of his home and neighborhood. He was more than just welcoming making sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is homey and extremely clean, especially for such an old historical building. The location was perfect. It was near restaurants and interesting shops but also away from the busy touristy areas. Everything was within walking distance including the train station and ferry. If we are ever lucky enough to get back to Salerno, we would stay here again.

Great homely apartment as base for our week in Anacapri. Great kitchen for self catering and washing machine (though do need to be agile to reach upstairs to laundry) Quiet location on foot lane less than 100 m from main Anacapri shopping precinct (incl supermarket) taxis, buses to all Capri sights, walks. Maria and Giovanni are genuinely kind, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful individuals who clearly love their city and love sharing it with others. Their efforts made us feel not just welcome, but truly cared for. Fruits, some snacks and a nice limonchello bottle was waiting for us when we arrived. Giovanni helped us book a tour and even chaperoned us early morning till the pick up stop. We cannot recommend staying with Maria and Giovanni highly enough. We are already dreaming of our next visit and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Thank you, Maria and Giovanni, for everything – you truly made our vacation unforgettable! PS. Getting a smaller car is highly recommended as the road to their place is super narrow. They initially advised us the same but we thought they were up-selling :P which was clearly not the case.

Centrally located sweet and cozy apartment. 5 minutes walk to the one of the main Metro station. Beautiful, comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen, and many more nice, useful touches. Luigi and Silvia are great, very warm people, they were constantly stayed in touch and promptly responded to all questions and requests. My stay at Luigi and Silvia's place were was pleasant and comfortable. Thank you so much, guys, for all your help and support!

The stay at Ciro's was perfect! We felt comfortable right away. It was nice that we got to know him a little while we were eating together on the beautiful terrace overlooking the pool. Ciro is a warm and open person. He gave us apricots and lemons from his garden. We miss him and the beautiful villa!

From the moment we arrived Luigi and his family were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. On our first evening we were given 2 enormous freshly baked pizzas. Most welcome after a long day travelling here. As a party of five adults we stayed for two weeks and glad we did. The views from the Terrace were amazing, with spectacular sunsets. From the large deck and pool areas you can quietly relax and enjoy views of the sea or mountains. At meal times the fabulous gas Webber BBQ was greatly appreciated. Inside the rooms, there were some charming, decorative features which added to the ambience of the property. A large open kitchen/lounge area provides a lovely social space. From the property was a fabulous walk with amazing views over the Bay of Naples and Versuvius. The small village nearby is very friendly but as mentioned in other reviews a small car is essential which our hosts also helped us to arranged.

We had a wonderful time at the Villa , the place is Beautiful ,the location is just perfect. The view from the balcony is Indeed breathtaking overlooking the ocean . There is delightful private área for sunbathing . Everything we needed was avalible from the convenience of a washer to a fully assortment of dishes etc . This property is fantástic, highly recommended ! 5 start also for Jason , he was over our expectations . Thank you for making aour holiday the best one ! Will come Back next year for sure .

Where do I begin? This was our best experience to date! Claudia’s love for this property shines through, and the thoughtful care and attention to every generous detail made our experience so memorable! From her beautiful, well appointed home to the stunning views and outdoor spaces - we soaked up all the gems she made available to us. Her hospitality was above and beyond, with a fully stocked pantry of delicious food to checking in on us each day, she gave us so much information to make sure we were set! To top it off, we were able to work with her personal and extremely attentive concierge, Aniello, who helped us plan our trip. It didn’t stop there, Claudia’s relationship with a local restaurant gave us access to a free shuttle and Aniello was responsive to every need. We had full access to her amazing hotel as well. This home is higher in the hills, but you can easily walk behind the house (it’s a bit of a down hill walk to a path) and in a few minutes you hit the cute town.

Tucked into the hillside above the charming town of Nerano in Massa Lubrense, this beautiful home was an absolute dream. The sweeping views of the bay and surrounding hills were breathtaking—especially from the spacious terrace, where we spent peaceful mornings soaking in the sun. The house itself is wonderfully appointed, with large, comfortable bedrooms and spotless, modern bathrooms. Everything was sparkling clean and thoughtfully maintained. Silvia and Francesco were truly delightful hosts—warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful. They even helped us arrange a fantastic last-minute tour of Amalfi and Positano, which became one of the highlights of our trip. This place felt like a hidden gem, and I’m already dreaming about my return. Highly recommended!

A beautiful, peaceful, relaxing location. The villa has character and the log fire is a great focal point. Outdoor spaces for eating and chatting. A few minutes drive further up the hill is an amazing viewing point with restaurant. Marina is helpful, responsive and friendly.

One of the best airbnbs we have stayed at. Great location - short 10 min walk to train station and we min down to the port town. The views are incredible…way better than the photos. The custodian manager was super helpful. We had breakfast and dinners right on the terrace. We just bought food from a local restaurant several times - better view than most restaurants! Just a perfect stay in Positano! Villa Cocles is stunning! We were greeted by Marina and shown around the property at check in. She also had a nice welcome drink and snack for us. Everything was spotless. Her kitchen is well equipped (much more than any airbnb we have stayed in) and we easily made two lovely dinners for our family of 5. We enjoyed the terrace so much that we wanted to just stay instead of going out to eat! Can’t say enough good things about it! Would absolutely go back!

He was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. The villa itself was absolutely fantastic — spacious, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. Every corner of the house reflected care and thoughtfulness, from the tasteful decor to the well-equipped amenities. The outdoor spaces were equally stunning, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the beautiful surroundings. Stefano was always available if we needed anything and provided excellent recommendations that really enhanced our trip.
