The Colyer Mercantile

Established in 1857, the Colyer Mercantile is an absolute gem. The house was originally built by William Colyer and it's in his honor that Colyer Lake was named. The 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house has been completely renovated from the inside out. The historic charm of the house has not been lost, but instead, it has become it's most prized highlight. From the push button light switches, to the original door knobs you'll feel like you've gone back in time without losing any modern amenities.

Situated in the heart of our Historic Village District, this lovely 2nd floor apartment overlooks Main St. and is spacious and very cozy. Your host, Ken, looks after the place and takes cleaning very seriously. There's no TV but very strong WiFi for streaming. Our neighborhood is quiet, friendly and safe. Welcome to the tiny Cabin In The Cove! This beautiful cabin sits right in the woods of central Pennsylvania. The cabin is located 1000 ft away from the creek. State game land is a 5 minute drive for hunting. Acres of land for hiking, watch wildlife, or just relax. The Juniata river is a 10 minute drive to go kayaking. Amazing mom and pop resturaunts to eat at. This cabin is just one hour from Penn State main campus for football games and is an hour from Hershey Park.

The Blue Humble Abode

Looking for a place to rest your head? This is a nice quiet spot located in Centre Hall just 15 minutes away from Penn State Campus and 18 Minutes away form the stadium. This is a private studio with it's own private entrance and space for your convenience. Walk to downtown centre hall and grab a slice from the delicious Brother's Pizza. We are located in the beautiful big valley in Amish country. The valley includes tourist stores, produce stands and baked goods, and quilts. We are only 35 minutes from Penn State, Lake Raystown is only 45 minutes, Mifflin Co. airport is 5 min, 3.5 miles from 322. Enjoy relaxing and drinking coffee on the porch while watching the deer and beautiful country scenery. Guests are welcome to give the deer treats. Private outdoor fire pit. Corn hole game is available.
