Great studio apartment one block from the beach. The area is safe and very walkable. About a 15 minute walk to the metro station (General Osório). There is also a grocery market in the same building on the first floor (Zona Sul). The apartment has excellent Air Conditioning, the window style unit in the photo has been replaced with a new quiet mini split A/C. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook food, and a washing machine for clothes. Mauricio was always fast to respond and very helpful. You are very close to the beach so during the day there is always a lot of street noise from people/cars/buses. Not the apartments fault, it's just the reality being one block from the beach. After 11pm it gets very quiet and I had no trouble sleeping. The building itself is quiet, there was never any noise from the neighbors. Overall a great apartment and I would book again. Very good location, one block from the beach. The area is great, super quiet! Everything is nearby, bars, beach, supermarkets. There is also a currency exchange office in front. Maria is very attentive and has informed us of everything before entering. The apartment is very well equipped and super clean. We'll definitely be back!
