It was wonderful. I'd love to do it again. Totally good location to explore the Algarve. A beautiful beach nearby. Apartment well equipped. A large supermarket is not within walking distance, so plan a car or Bolt. Everything straightforward and easy. Thank you for the wonderful time 🌞

This is a pristine 5 star hotel and is the perfect place for a relaxing beautiful getaway. The amenities (pool, beach, spa, breakfast buffet etc) were perfect. The rainfall shower was so relaxing. There is direct access to a beautiful beach between cliffs that you can climb on and get a great view from. The beach has a snack bar/restaurant, lounge chairs and a short walk from the beach is a restaurant where they offer the freshest fish and debone it right in front of you as you overlook the water. It's a very unique experience. The hotel offers free shuttles to the town as well. The post said check-in was at 3 but when we got to the hotel they wouldn't let us check-in until 4. However, they were very accommodating about holding bags and letting us use the amenities as we wanted. Also, two twin beds are pushed together, the room does not have a double bed. But everything else about our stay was so incredible that these two small points were quickly forgotten!

We were a family group of 8. Two parents of three adult children and their partners. Susana was a super helpful host, answering any queries beforehand and offering suggestions. She organised our transfers to and from the airport. The villa was stunning, bedrooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The outside pool area was a great relaxing and sociable space. Plenty of sun-loungers. It’s a 15 minute stroll downhill to the local Marina which hosts many bars and restaurants. Ubers are plentiful and so reasonably priced so it was always an Uber back uphill for us! Susana always answered any questions within a couple of hours. Nothing was too much trouble - we even had a welcome basket of goodies upon our arrival which was such a kind gesture. Albufeira old town is approximately 10 mins away in an Uber costing around €5/6. The local supermarket was a 5 minute journey. Would return without hesitation.
