Die Unterkunft war wunderschön an einer sehr ruhigen Lage mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Es war alles sauber und mit Liebe eingerichtet damit man sich ab dem ersten Moment nur wohlfühlen kann. Es hatte alles was man braucht, auch super fanden wir die vielen Küchenuntensilien und der Grill, den wir jeden Tag benutzten. Die Terrasse mit Whirpool,Lounge,Liegen und Tisch waren das Highlight. Wir verbrachten viel Zeit in der Unterkunft, weil wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben. Der Strand Calheta ist 5min mitem Auto einfach zu erreichen und sehr empfehlenswert. Auch fanden wir den Privatparkplatz super. Bruno und Maria sind sehr zuvorkommend und fragten auch nach wie es uns geht und ob wir etwas brauchen. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, sehr ruhig, viel privatsphäre und doch gelangen wir mitem Auto überall hin. Vielen herzlichen Dank an Bruno und Maria. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The apartment is very spacious and beautifully and modernly furnished. It has everything you need. You can basically reach everything on foot. There are enough restaurants nearby that serve delicious food. The bus stop is right outside, and the bus runs every 5 minutes, which brings you into the old town in 20 minutes. The only thing that was a bit annoying was that the street was quite noisy, and you couldn't sleep with the windows open. But that's something you can overlook, given the otherwise perfect apartment. We really enjoyed it and would come back anytime.

Perfect place to stay in Funchal, walking distance from town, private car park, the apartment had everything I needed and was super clean. Isabel was very friendly and answered quickly. I'll definitely book again if I'm coming back to Funchal

Die Unterkunft von Helen& Chris ist einfach wunderschön. Liebevoll eingerichtet und es war alles da, was man benötigt. Die Terrasse ist riesig und eignet sich zum Essen und Liegen, vor allem bei der tollen Aussicht. Der Pool war immer privat für uns nutzbar, obwohl die Gäste der anderen Appartements auch dort waren. Der Weg vom Parkplatz runter ist wirklich nur ein kurzes Stück und gar kein Problem. Die Lage ist für die Insel und die Erkundung des Westens perfekt geeignet.

Miguel’s place was perfect! The apartment looks exactly like the photos. It was clean and well equipped. The view is unbeatable, and the outdoor space was such a nice addition. Miguel is incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying at his place!

Loved our stay at Leonardo’s place. Beautiful view from the apartment and the infinity pool. Peaceful area, with good security - always felt very safe. Leonardo was very responsive and had good communication throughout. We initially struggled to get in due to the lockbox being stuck, but this was quickly resolved within 10 mins. The apartment was very clean and our needs were met. The bathroom was clean and water pressure was great. The only thing we noted was that the apartment is right next to a nursery which could get noisy during the day, but it is manageable especially as we would usually be outside during those hours. Overall an amazing stay and would recommend to others.

Mooi ruim huis met fantastisch uitzicht. Rustige omgeving, wat restaurants in het dorpje, was prima. Hele fijne ruime keuken met alles erop en eraan.

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

Es war alles da, was man benötigt. Die Unterkunft ist stilvoll und sauber. Der Gastgeber war immer erreichbar und hat schnell geantwortet.

Pedro war sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Er gab uns auch einige gute Tipps. Das einzige was wir ein bisschen kritisieren müssen, ist die Möblierung. Manche Möbelstücke sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Diese gehören unserer Meinung nach mal ausgetauscht.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, pristine, peaceful home. Well equipped kitchen. Maria has thought of everything. The outside space was really great, plenty of space to enjoy the pool along with the outside kitchen BBQ. We walked to the botanical gardens which was 10 minutes away. Two small supermarkets and bakery 3 minutes walk from the house. We walked in Funchal several times and caught a taxi home. Lovely climate and beautiful surroundings.

An absolutely stunning space. Janine was incredibly helpful and proactive with setting us up with detailed instructions on how to access everything along with local recommendations. The location was perfect and the space had everything we needed to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic after the days hikes. Truly a dream airbnb for peace, tranquility, and amazing beauty. We cant rave about this place enough. So grateful for its existence.

Ett perfekt boende som låg mittemellan allting - om du vill vandra, nära till bergen, nära Funchal. Enkel incheckning och ett superfint boende perfekt för en vecka! Rekommenderar!

Our stay at the Larimar house was great! Laura was an excellent host and very responsive. Our checkin, stay, and checkout were smooth and easy. The house is in a great location right beside the ocean with a beautiful walk along the ocean possible right outside the door. The location was very central and made it easy to drive to all the hikes we went on. Would highly recommend staying here during your time in Madeira!

We were very happy with our stay in the apartment — everything matched the description. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen where you can cook proper meals, the parking space, and the lovely balcony with a great view of the city. Carlos was friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Our stay at Jorge’s place was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to any active travellers. The accommodation was just perfect. We felt safe, comfortable and relaxed when there, although we were mostly out exploring the wonderful island. The parking can be tricky but if you were like us and out from 5am and back at 3pm, parking was never an issue, although tight spaces (I recommend getting a small hire car!). 30-40 minute walk to the centre of Funchal and 15-20 bars on the way! The local bars and restaurants were all good but our favourites were Horta and Mau Fetitio if you want excellent food and service. We wanted to go to Il Basilica but they were fully booked most nights. The day trip to Porto Santo is great, very worthwhile and very relaxing but not a lot going on. We went to Pe Na Agua which was really good. Hiring e-bikes is highly recommended. The mountains reputations speak for themselves. Parking at Arieiro gets busy from 5am and costs €20 for the day. Plan well.

Beautiful, spacious apartment in a great location. We enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay here again! The big balcony was our favourite part, and the check in instructions were so easy. Loved it!

Absolutely Stunning Apartment with Unbeatable Views! This was, without a doubt, the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the absolutely stunning apartment. It was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful location was a real highlight, boasting amazing sea views from the balcony that we enjoyed every single day. The lovely swimming pools on site were a fantastic bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. Our hosts, Mariana and Ricardo, were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to answer any questions and offer local tips. The great wifi was a practical plus, and we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to the main shops, making everything so convenient. We had a truly wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. Thank you, Mariana and Ricardo, for a memorable stay!

Wir waren am Juni 2025 da. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Nuno ist ein ausgezeichneter Gastgeber, der uns sehr nett empfangen hat. Des Weiteren war er uns bei allen Anliegen behilflich (z.B. Taxibestellung und Mietwagenorganisation). Die Unterkunft entsprach exakt der Beschreibung und wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Terasse ist riesig mit Meerblick, genauso wie der umwerfende Blick aus dem Badezimmerfenster. Leider wird aktuell schräg gegenüber ein Haus/Hotel gebaut, weshalb wir von 8 bis 17 Uhr Baulärm hatten. Wir hatten für 10 Tage einen Mietwagen - vermittelt durch Nuno - das können wir nur weiterempfehlen. Aber auch mit dem Bus kann man viel erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants alles fußläufig erreichbar. Es waren tolle 14 Tage und wenn wieder Madeira, dann auf jeden Fall wieder bei Nuno.

Nous avons séjourné une semaine à 4 dans un appartement très agréable. Nous avons apprécié les 2 chambres et les 2 salles de bain. Idéal pour 2 couples. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement propre et décoré avec goût. Un petit plus pour la place de parking au garage. Connie était là à notre arrivée et nous la remercions pour sa gentillesse.
