Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Praiano

We had the most amazing time on our honeymoon staying here! Carlo met us promptly upon arrival, walked us to the house and gave us tips for getting around Positano. The terrace was amazing and offered spectacular views. This side of Positano was less crowded and we were happy to not be in the craziness of the main beach and port. It was a quick walk to literally everything. We hope to come back, and highly recommend!

This was the perfect place for our first time in Positano. The views are breathtaking, the location is very convenient and the apartment has everything you need to be comfortable. Letizia and Grady are superb hosts. They were very helpful in preparation for our trip, Grady greeted us on arrival and arranged porters to move our bags when we checked in and out (pro tip for any first timers: don’t think twice about hiring porters, you won’t regret it). Their guidebook was full of great suggestions and made it really easy for us to plan our stay. I know we will be back to Positano someday and this will be the first place we book!

Nicola was very proactive even before we arrived. We were a group of 6 and he worked very hard to arrange transportation for us to Amalfi as the buses were sometimes full. Worked to get us the most reasonable price as well. The view is spectacular and the kitchen beautifully appointed. Very comfortable and fun! Thank you Nicola!!!

Wir waren für drei Nächte in diesem wunderschönen AirBnb. Es ist genau wie auf den Fotos, fast noch schöner. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft schön. Der kleine Strand ist so schön. Mario‘s Mutter hat uns beim Check-In alles erklärt und uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Wenn wir das nächste Mal wieder an der Amalfiküste sind werden wir sicher wieder das AirBnb von Mario mieten. Vielen Dank für diese wunderschönen Tage!

The villa situated high above the town of Priano has incredible views and multiple terraces to enjoy them. Erminia dropped a pin to the garage which is essential if you are hiring a car on the Amalfi Coast. Erminia met us and helped take our luggage down the steps into the villa. Erminia spent ages taking us through a map of the local area and instructions for catching the local bus and the other two bus services available, restaurant recommendations and her favourite places to go and visit and what time of day might be best to travel. We'd never been to the Amalfi Coast before but friends had stayed in the town of Priano so we did too. There are a lot of steps to walk down to get into town and back up after a meal or a visit. But the views are wothnit. rThe local service is really reliable and very convenient. Even though we had a car, parking is an issue everywhere so we chose where to take the car and where to visit by bus. You won't regret staying here

Where to start... prior to our arrival she provided her information so she could help pick us up with our bags and give us a personal tour. She treats her home with pride and her guests like family. Giovanna and her family all helped make our stay memorable and comfortable. She was flexible with us since we had a late wedding to attend and really cared about us personally. She remembers the little details like what you like for breakfast and even wished my husband a happy birthday. The view is beautiful, the room is cozy, her food is made with love and my heart is so full. My husband and I left feeling so cared for. Everyone is respectful of space and Giovanna is just a lovely person I hope to visit again. If you want an ordinary experience go elsewhere but if you want something extraordinary visit Giovanna <3

Cannot speak highly enough of Maria Bianca and her home. She is generous, kind, and goes above and beyond to be helpful. Maria shared local recommendations around Praiano including restaurants, bars, and beaches. Praiano itself is unbelievable - even after visiting Positano and Amalfi, we preferred Praiano for its tranquility and quaint nature. There were also significantly less tourists! Be ready to walk hills, but understand it is entirely worth it. We would love to stay here again should we return to the Amalfi Coast!

From the moment we arrived, Aniello went completely above and beyond to make our stay seamless and unforgettable. He personally met us at the ferry, arranged luggage transport, and gave us a full orientation of both the home and the local transportation system. He even helped us purchase bus tickets when we were unsure how! The home itself was absolutely beautiful and spotless, filled with thoughtful personal touches, and offered stunning panoramic views. The garden outside the home was incredible. We picked lemons and made homemade lemonade! He also had wine and his incredible homemade limoncello waiting for us! He ensured we felt EXTREMELY safe and comfortable. He made recommendations that made a real difference in our experience. From arrival to departure (which he also helped coordinate), we felt more like family than guests. This was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had. Would rate it ten stars if we could! Thank you Aniello for an amazing stay!!

We loved our stay and especially enjoyed Giovanna and Pasquale. The flat was spotless, functional, and had an amazing view! Giovanna was very helpful with my many questions about transportation which can be a challenge. Great location for a family vacation. We are all in much better shape after a week of climbing stairs!

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. Our stay in Conca dei Marini was absolutely perfect! We're happy that we chose this charming town over some of the other towns on the Amalfi coast, because it offered the most perfect retreat after visiting some of those busier locations! The tranquility was exactly what we needed, and the stunning panoramic views from this airbnbs terrace were truly unforgettable. We enjoyed spending each evening there with a glass of wine-thank you for the delicious red wine, Raffaele!! :) Raffaele and Angela are truly exceptional hosts. Raffaele checked on us daily to ensure we were comfortable. His thoughtful recommendations on places to visit, dine, and explore definitely helped. We particularly enjoyed his suggestion of the restaurant Le Bonta del Capo and loved the Santa Rosa bar. If you're pondering on whether to stay at this Airbnb, stop hesitating and book now. You won’t be disappointed — this place truly exceeded our expectations!

Vittorio's apartment in Praiano was amazing. From the huge balcony, the view was spectacular. The apartment was spotless and had every amenity needed and extras like slippers, sunhats and beach towels. Welcome pasta, sauce and wine were lovely touches and Francesca was very helpful with recommendations for walks and restaurants. We could not have had a better stay on the Amalfi Coast. This Praiano apartment was perfect.

I had the absolute best stay at Luca & Paola’s place. It’s a beautiful mosaic art piece that Luca the artist created. It’s the most artistic gem I’ve ever stayed at! It’s a slice of heaven! Seriously, you don’t t ever have to leave it’s so beautiful!! Paola & Luca make an incredible breakfast, the best eggs and cappuccino I’ve ever had. And the best part is Paola and Luca. They are 100% the best hosts I’ve ever had at any place I’ve ever stayed at. I miss them already!!

We had a fantastic stay! Nicola was very easy to work with, helpful with all questions and/or concerns, and the apartment was even better than what I had imagined. Very clean, looked just like the pictures, and had plenty of space for 4 adults. Location was great! Praiano is on the quiet side which was great after visiting busier places like Positano. Great restaurants nearby and a little market conveniently located right at the top of the stairs. We are so happy with our choice and can't wait to come back!

I could not recommend this place highly enough. A great location, Ivan was a wonderful host, we felt right at home the whole time and he was around for anything we needed. A more quiet area on the Amalfi coast but still easy to access the main tourist spots. Just a heads up that the walk from the regular bus stop to the house is quite steep so it would be handy to time your arrival with the local Praiano bus (which will take you almost to the door) or get a private taxi/bus to take you right to the door of the apartment. Honestly loved my stay and was very sad to leave!

Melinda was an amazing host! We loved staying here, the stay was beautiful- amazing location and the airbnb was super clean and comfy. Praiano is beautiful and we were glad we stayed here - the food was amazing and it was an easy bus ride to positano but honestly praiano on its own was so nice.

We had an amazing stay in the apartment. It’s absolutely beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice. The balcony is huge and has a beautiful garden and lots of flowers. We loved sitting outside for morning coffee and again at the end of the day to wind down and soak up the view. The inside was very well equipped, clean, comfortable and private. Lorenzo was very helpful and flexible with check-in and also local recommendations. This is a very special apartment in a very special location and we would recommend this place without hesitation!

Felicia is very warm and welcoming, extremely communicative, and flexible. We asked if we could check in early as we were tired after a long day of travel and she was able to accommodate us which we were grateful for! She took time to walk us through the home and gave us personal recommendations for places nearby. Never had such personal touch to an Airbnb check in! The home itself is beautiful and located along the main road (only a few small steps so makes carrying suitcases a breeze)! The beds were comfy, the water pressure in the shower was good, and you get oceanfront view from the large balcony/terrace. There are two small markets less than 5 min walk from the home (try the frozen lemon sorbet) and free beach down below (this does require steps but this is the Amalfi coast so be prepared for steps everywhere!). Bus stop to Positano and Amalfi are also within 5 min walking distance and you can purchase bus tickets at the market. Overall we would stay again!!!

We loved our stay in Marina Grande and appreciated the location partway along the way of the long, steep path between the water and the shopping/restaurants. Beautiful view from the balcony! 40 steps to get to the second floor can be tricky when you’re coming up from a swim down below, but still manageable. The apartment has everything you need and Federico is so helpful, organized and friendly!

Emplacement idéal!!! Nous voulions absolument faire la randonnée «  sentier des dieux » et le début de la randonnée est à 2 pas de l’appartement. C’est aussi très proche de l’arrêt des autobus, que ce soit vers Amalfi ou Napoli. Rita a été super, elle a pris le temps de tout nous expliquer, nous donner des conseils et des suggestions. L’appartement était propre, avec tout le nécessaire. La seule petite chose est qu’on entend très bien le voisinage de l’autre côté de la porte, mais sinon, tout était parfait. Merci pour tout! 😍

Raffaele and Anna went above and beyond to make our stay special. As soon as we booked, Raffaele gave us several recommendations and booked a boat tour (absolutely amazing) and transfer for us. They were both available at all times for any questions and it wouldn’t have been the same visit to Positano without them. That said- this place is very high up and there are a lot of stairs if you plan to walk everyday. On average, our phone showed we walked up 60-100 flights of stairs per day! The view was well worth it and we didn’t gain any weight from the pasta. Book here for a great stay.

Great stay in Positano! This place is up the hill quite a bit if you arrive from the marina but that’s where all the good views are! Porters or taxis available to take you to the top but we walked up with our luggage. Restaurants and a small market type store close by if you need to buy things. The stay was fantastic, had everything we needed and accurately described. It was nice to have a small washer to do laundry on our journey and air dried everything on a rack outside. Good communication.

Concetta and Anna were the best hosts we have ever had! Anna greeted us at the top of the hill and helped with our luggage to get down to the apartment. She was so kind to us and even helped get us into the most amazing restaurant- Da Vincenzo with an hour notice! She treated us like family which was our favorite part. The Airbnb itself was beautiful and was stocked with snacks and drinks. The view and the rooftop was our favorite part- absolutely stunning. AC in the bedroom was clutch. The only downside is that with such an amazing view from the top of the Positano hill, you are very far from the beach and other main attractions and will require a whole lot of steps to get up and down. However, we enjoyed it because we got a workout during our vacation! I 100000% recommend this Airbnb and will definitely rebook if I’m back in Positano.

Luigi’s Napoli condo was even more beautiful and spacious than the pictures portray. We stayed one day/night to catch an early morning flight back to the U.S. the next day since the condo is only about a 20-25 min drive to Napoli Airport. The condo is in a very safe neighborhood that is extremely walkable with tons of shops and restaurants. And the view, words can’t describe! You can see Mt. Vesuvius, Sorrento and the aisle of Capri, all surrounded by the glistening sea. If you find yourself in Naples, do yourself a favor and book this amazing place!

Anna Maria is probably the single best host I’ve had the pleasure of renting from. She is so kind and helpful - she helped us secure luggage transfer from the ferry dock in Amalfi, as well as an early cab to Salerno to catch our train on a Sunday morning, as the ferries didn’t run early enough. She met us when we got to Atrani and walked us through everything. The condo is very well appointed and the two bathrooms were a great benefit, as was the washing machine. It is within easy walking distance of the town square and she provided excellent recommendations for restaurants all along the coast. We spent most of our time in Atrani, as it is smaller and much less crowded. We simply loved our time there. Grazie mille, Anna Maria, for a most perfect stay!
