This property truly surpasses the photos. Beautifully decorated with a wide selection of art, books, crockery, fabrics, glassware , etc. We especially loved the main bedroom, which feels like a lush greenhouse, full of greenery. Every corner of the property is thoughtfully decorated and impeccably maintained. We highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates design and nature.

Could not have asked for a better spot. Great space, clean and warm. Everything in top condition and walking distance from everything you could need.

The lovely peaceful location is wonderful, with the town of Oudtshoorn 10 minutes away. The house has everything you require for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Comfortable beds. Amazing inside braai lounge for when it's cold outside. The outside stoep is warm and the large garden was fantastic for our two furkids.

I booked the accommodation for a couple of weeks in a row for my colleagues who needed to do a project in areas in and around Prince Albert. Every week the guys ask me to book with Elize again. They really enjoyed their stay there, especially the roof terrace. They had everything that they needed to make their stay super comfortable. Elize is also a lovely, friendly person and it was a pleasure to engage with her. I'll defiantly book with Elize again when my colleagues are headed that way again!

El Dorado was a fantastic stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The secure estate added peace of mind, and the location was perfect for exploring Oudtshoorn’s attractions. We especially enjoyed the communal swimming pool for unwinding after a day out. Highly recommended!

Great accommodation conveniently located close to restaurants and Swartberg Pass

What an amazing retreat perched on top of a koppie surrounded by beautiful folding mountains and nature. We saw the most epic sunsets all the while chilling in the pool. The house was very spacious and some surprising features like a library and day beds to soak up the sun. Being off the grid was a bonus but while still having all the essentials amenities like a fridge, hot water, kettle etc

The property is beautifully restored and stylishly decorated, offering a perfect blend of charm and comfort. The swimming pool and air conditioning in both rooms were exceptional, providing much-needed relief from the Karoo heat. The lush green grass and inviting braai area added to the overall appeal. The kitchen, though basic, was well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal, within walking distance of the hotel and nearby restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to returning. The adorable dogs were a delightful bonus!

There’s no better spot for those seeking peace and inspiration. Elam is an exceptional host! Always accessible and incredibly knowledgeable. Her attention to detail is remarkable and her warm and open personality creates a welcoming andand comfortable atmosphere, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive.

Tania is a great host, always willing to make your stay most comfortable. I enjoyed the privacy and the tranquility.

The house is large and spacious with every facility you could need with sleeping for ten’. We had a family holiday here and we’re never in each other’s faces. The night sky is fantastic - there’s lots to do in and around Prince Albert if you like the outdoors.

Good place to stay! We do recommend tomake a stop for couple of nights. I only wish the rooms would still have the deco they have on the pictures.

Our stay was simply perfect! From the moment we booked, the communication with our host was prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Upon arrival, we were blown away by how charming and welcoming the place was. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We cannot recommend this Airbnb highly enough. If you're looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and truly special place to stay in Prince Albert, look no further. We're already planning our return trip!

Definitely great value for money ... As neat as a pin! Extremely clean. Don't be chased away by the lower price compared to others ... This one offers value for money ... Definitely will visit again.

We were here for just one night. We felt like family as they were so welcoming. The home was so cozy and the family let us walk around to see and play with their animals. They had the most adorable gift shop with a patio area for sitting. They made sure we had everything we needed to settle in. They gave us great suggestions on places to eat and visit. Once we were driving off they all gave us hugs and waved us goodbyes. I honestly felt like I was leaving my family. Probably my best experience and stay ever here is South Africa and the States.

The accommodation was fantastic value for money and the hostess - Tienie, an absolute treasure!!. Nothing was too much and she went out of her way to make our stay great. We will definitely be back when in Oudshoorn. Thank you Tienie for a great relaxing stay.

If you want to calm down or just want to spend some nights at a cozy place, we can recommend it 100%! Take your time, braai and enjoy!!

We love staying at this cottage, the furniture is comfortable, there is a wood stove in the lounge, the pillows nice and soft, the kitchen has everything you need. The verandah looks onto a garden with a beautiful views of the hills. It is ideal if you are travelling with dogs. We will be back.
