Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Sparrow’s Worth is a quaint cottage filled with reclaimed floors and staircase from an 1860’s Virginia farmhouse. The upstairs bedroom welcomes you with mix of old and repurposed furniture. The small attached bath has a raised toilet and a shower. Notice the old radio from Baltimore, MD converted to a vanity. The apartment has a private entrance and parking just outside the door. We are a retired but active couple who live upstairs. The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker and is stocked with coffee, tea, coffee fixings, snacks, and light breakfast items. We are 25 minutes to downtown Lynchburg and 20 minutes to Appomattox.

Beautiful new and modern one bedroom cabin had everything you need and is perfect for a quick getaway, college visit, or shopping spree at Green Front. Beautiful wood paneling inside gave it a lovely log cabin feel and the pine smelled SO good! The back porch/deck was perfect for watching lightning bugs at night. We missed the Firefly Festival, but felt like we got our own private show just out back! Cheryl and Rex were wonderful hosts. Cheryl was responsive when I was trying to book the day of and opened the booking up for me when it was showing unavailable. She quickly cleaned the place, allowing us a lot of flexibility with the check in time. The key pad lock made it simple to get in. They meet us in town for coffee the next day and shared their inspiring story. Rex built the house himself and Cheryl furnished and decorated. It's truly an american dream. Stay here, you won't regret it!

This was the perfect cottage for our uses! We enjoyed the nice full kitchen, living room, and I loved the private little deck. The location was quiet, green, and very lovely. Inside, the bed was super soft and comfortable, and the hostess was quick to respond to messages. We really enjoyed our short stay.

We stayed in FarmVille for our daughter’s wedding. We really enjoyed staying here. The place seems newly remodeled. Very clean! From the picture on the listing I thought it would be a little more private but it has other houses right next door and across the street. Which isn’t a problem unless you want privacy. The neighborhood was quiet. The location was very convenient to everything we needed and every place we needed to be. Melissa was extremely responsive and easy to work with. She accommodated our request for a late checkout which was very gracious and much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again. The house had everything we needed and more.!

The Carriage House is beautiful. From the decor, well-stocked kitchen to luxurious linens, we were very comfortable in this home for a long weekend. Just outside of Farmville in a beautiful rural setting, is a jewel of a home. We were a party of 4, busy with different wedding festivities all weekend. It was lovely to start our days on the porch with coffee and come home to relax on the porch to enjoy the each other. Thanks to our host for a well stocked kitchen, bathrooms and all the goodies for us to enjoy. We appreciated your flexibility when we needed it! I hope to return to enjoy more of the area, shop at Greenfront and stay in this lovely home once again.
