Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Province of Catanzaro

We were two at Silvio's and enjoyed the stay very much. There was a large bed and a large, very comfortable sofa bed. We were able to park in front of the house on the street and explore the area from there. Silvio was a very friendly host for us, who was always available and who could also help us with the purchase of a property. Pizzo and the surrounding area are worth a trip, beautiful old town and many very good restaurants (definitely eat the pistachio Tartuffo at Dante's) with wonderfully long secluded beaches. We will be happy to come back.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Fortuna. It’s Right in the old city of Pizzo and close to the piazza and the beach. The kitchen was well-equipped and we didn’t miss anything! Paola was a perfect host and very welcoming and forthcoming!

We stayed in the house for a work in the area. The house has very good conditions. Communication was great. Everything worked well. We recommend.

Quirico was a dream to communicate with and so nice the place is so close to the beach. Very peaceful

I found myself staying at Fabio's in view of a competition, there were three of us, we felt at home. When I asked for a practical accommodation for mobility, he proposed the property in the center that I immediately accepted. In the house there is a bit of everything, at my request for coffee for the machine Fabio impeccably provided me directly with another coffee machine with pods. He also made sure we didn't miss anything. He had already warned me that the apartment was located in the center among the clubs, so we were prepared for possible noise, but it was bearable. Too bad I was there for study reasons because there are so many nice clubs below the house. If I had to go back, I would definitely choose the same apartment.

I spent close to 2 weeks recently at Laura’s place and I must say I found the home to be pleasantly immaculate in every way. The pictures she posted of the homes interior were just the way I found it upon my arrival. Everything was operational, modern, up to date, sanitary, convenient with the use of electronic keys, gate openers and WiFi; the place was obviously well kept. Although not absolutely necessary, a car is very helpful to get about for shopping and enjoying the nearby beaches as it is very pleasantly secluded and quiet. I hope everyone doesn’t rush out too often and too long to stay at this place, as I will be looking to come back for future visits if the home is available…thank you very much Laura!

Where do I start. Beautiful house up in the hills around 5km from town. On arrival we were welcomed by Vitoria and his family and immediately felt at home. Evening meal with wine was offered for €25 each, glad we accepted as it was the best meal in Italy so far. Typical Calabrian food mostly from their farm. Served outside on the terrace by all family members and w Service was like you would get in a restaurant. On arrival, fridge had water, bread, fruit juice, salami and fresh milk along with a fresh bowl of oranges from the garden. Fresh baked croissants delivered for breakfast along with fresh peaches. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfy beds. On leaving, Vittorio’s wife supplied us with home made Nduja Calabrese and jars of pickled vegetables. Cute and very friendly dogs. What a wonderful family to stay with ❤️🇮🇹❤️👌

Mario’s place is a fabulous one in the gorgeous and historic Sera San Bruno. The place was super comfortable, and decorated in a retro 80s style. Lots of thought has gone into providing a well-equipped and stylish place. Although on a main street, the neighbourhood was safe and quiet, with easy parking too. So much to see in the area. Mario provided great tips for us to visit in the area. Communication with Mario was great and he made sure we had everything we needed. Can’t recommend highly enough.

This was our second stay at Piero's and we were hosted very well again. The apartments are nice, clean and in a good location. Piero is a very responsive and accommodating host.

great place to stay. Antonio was a super friendly host, always responds for our messages, he gave us some recommendations and what's fantastic offers fantastic homemade products! the place is located in walking distance from the beach which is super quiet and wide. We've got everything we need over there. planty of parking space on fhe street. highly recommend for long and short stay 😉

We were happy with the apartment. It was cozy, comfortable, clean and quite modern. In particular, we enjoyed sitting on the peaceful, sunny terrace amidst blooming plants and run-away lizards. Stepping through the backdoor of the terrace, it took just a very short walk to Pizzo beach, which was like a lonely planet in mid- October. Liudmyla was very hospitable and provided useful information before check-in. Apart from a short power failure on a rainy day we had a perfect stay at Marinella. Strongly recommended!

It is a home on the outskirts of the town near the airport. A good place if you have to sleep near the airport. The studio is very nice and comfortable.

I stayed for 3 nights in Carè's apartment and it was a perfect stay. Starting with the welcome from Ms. Patrizia, who allowed us to go to the apartment before the check-in time indicated. The apartment is also very well stocked, allowing you to really bring only what you need. The location is excellent, practically beachfront and with excellent restaurants nearby, there is also a supermarket in the immediate vicinity. If I have to go to Soverato again, I will definitely choose Carè's accommodation again.

Maria Cristina’s loft was exactly as in the pictures. Modern, clean and comfortable for a family of 4. It was spacious so we weren’t on top of each other and close to the shops, Beach etc.. but in a more quiet area which was great. Maria was very friendly and quick to respond anytime we had any questions or issues. She popped over quickly, even at night to help us out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend her apartment to anyone visiting Soverato!

Francesco’s apartment in the old town of Pizzo was in a great position for access to everything you’d want in Pizzo. We were met by Viola who was really lovely and friendly. The location was great, only a minute’s walk and you’re in the heart of the town, with great restaurants, views over the sea, and a lovely and quiet little public beach. The apartment was equipped with everything you need and was nicely decorated, and very welcoming. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of seating in the living room and it was also great to have the two bathrooms. The kitchen was also great and we were able to make a couple of meals when staying there and had these out on the lovely terrace. We had a great stay at Francesco’s apartment and would highly recommend staying there, and would book again.

Small but nice - as described. Newly renovated and very clean. Angela was incredibly kind and kind. Highly recommend.

Perfect city centre destination with amazing balcony!

We had a wonderful family vacation in the apartment! The location of the apartment is very quiet and yet central. There are 3 different beach sections (free and equipped) within walking distance, even with our 2 and 3 year old children. There are many restaurants, bars and ice cream parlors within walking distance and you basically don't need a car for all your daily needs. The apartment is renovated with a lot of love, the mattresses are new, everything for a pleasant stay is available. Domenico was a great host, he even expected us with everything we needed for breakfast, as we arrived on a Sunday evening. He responded quickly, friendly and helpful to all inquiries. We highly recommend both the apartment and Domenico as a host! Thank you again for the hospitality!

Rachael’s place was perfect , very clean and very well equipped with good quality furnishings and appliances and lots of essential bits and pieces in the pantry. A short walk to the piazza where there were lots of restaurants and great places for morning coffee and biscotti. The beach is a short walk and Tropea is just a train ride away and definitely worth a visit. The view from the balcony is so beautiful and peaceful … loved watching the swallows on their never ending quest for insects 😁 Rachael is an amazing host and always responsive … we had an issue with our train to Naples and she was so helpful. Thankyou Rachael for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment … we loved our quiet little village of Pizzo❤️

We had a wonderful week + stay at Gregorio’s place. It is very comfortable…loved the location, views, and relaxing on the huge roof terrace. The location of the apartment is just steps away from the town square, with restaurants and all the sights, or walking down to the beach, and the pizzo train station is reachable on foot from there, where you can train to other coastal towns such as Tropea. Gregorio and family are very warm and attentive hosts, and we can’t recommend them more highly!

Book it! If you're considering this area of Calabria and you love beautiful views of the ocean, a quiet/peaceful small beach village vibe, and easy access to many of the nearby beaches, busier cities (e.g. Soverato and Catanzaro), and historical sites, THIS is your perfect spot. The views are spectacular (even better than the photos, if that's possible) - we woke each morning to the sunrise, enjoyed coffee while watching the sea birds, and the hearing the gentle waves hit the rocks below. Federico (Gabriella's son) was very helpful on anything we needed in terms of local restaurants, shops, etc. Definitely visit Alta Marea seafood shop for local seafood. And L'Arte del Grano for freshly baked bread. We can't wait to return!

The view from the balcony was wonderful! The pictures of this apartment don’t do it justice. The balcony was big enough for two to enjoy coffee or wine. Really felt like a local but had enough restaurants around. Everything was walkable up and down hill. The apartment was not so big, but very comfortable for two. Can’t say much about how the kitchen worked, because who wants to cook when so much Italian food is at your doorstep? However, we were there the day many things closed down at the beginning of November. Still, we found good places to eat. Would recommend this apartment.
