The house and pool (available June to September) are both for the exclusive use of the guests. There are no shared spaces or amenities. The house is situated in the small hamlet of Moretto, two miles below Piglio – famous for its Cesanese wine. It is set in a mountain-side olive grove, near the foot of Mount Scalambra, with beautiful sweeping views. Guests are looked after by our lovely neighbours, Ivana and Luigi. They only speak Italian, so if you need help, text me and I'll help translate!

Quando ne abbiamo disegnato i contorni abbiamo pensato ad un luogo tranquillo, immerso nella natura e nel silenzio, lontano dalla frenesia che ogni giorno accompagna ciascuno di noi! Abbiamo scelto materiali semplici e poveri...Legno e corda...Li abbiamo cercati, trovati, studiati, trattati ed assemblati..Il risultato: un ambiente allestito con pezzi unici, realizzati da noi!

Ospita fino a sei persone e comprende veranda, ingresso, soggiorno, cucina, due camere e due bagni. Casa Fenice is located next to an olive grove and overlooking the cultivated fields of neighboring farms. Across the valley of the Saline River you will see the vineyard of San Lorenzo wines, the medieval villages of Elice and Castilenti, and small suburbs with support businesses for the farmers in the area. The nearest neighbor is 200m away, so with the exception of the occasional friendly farmer on his tractor, you are able to enjoy the blissful peacefulness of country living.
