Peter's place exceeded our expectations! Especially the outdoor area with a great view between the apple trees and grape vines was amazing. In addition, it was completely fenced - so ideal for dog owners. We will be happy to come back!!

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at Patrizia’s beautiful home. A spacious, beautifully decorated villa with lots of artwork and glass chandeliers. It’s a 10 minute walk from the Lucca wall. If you rent a car for side trips there is convenient parking inside the gate of the property. We did an overnight trip to Porto Venere and daytime drives to Montecatini, Monte Carlo, and Pietrasantra. Patrizia was a great host and always very helpful. She graciously agreed to drive us to the train station when we could not get a cab. We highly recommend Patrizia’s villa and hope to be back someday. Grazie Patrizia!

Donatella's place is exactly as pictured: curated, welcoming, and quiet. As soon as the gate closes, you enter a private oasis where you immediately feel at home. The covered terrace is perfect for lunch or dinner outdoors with all the time, enjoying the beautiful view of the valley. We've always eaten out. The pool was clean and the view was really relaxing. Our two dogs immediately felt comfortable: the space is large and all fenced, so for sure. The shops and everything you need are nearby, and in 15 minutes you can reach the sea of Lido di Camaiore. The house is well equipped, everything works as it should. Donatella and her son are always available, kind and really work hard to make guests feel good. Simple and fast communication. Thank you for your hospitality and attention to detail! We'd love to come back.

This was one of our most memorable holidays. A guided tour to the house to which upon arrival I cannot describe the stunning, magical, peaceful view and surroundings! All made us most welcome! The surrounding towns (Callodi, Montecarlo, Pistoia), cities (Lucca) close by (30 mins) and trains to Florence very relaxing. The farmhouse, with great character, was comfortable, cool, and well equipped with many a family feast overlooking the valley under stars swimming. Many thanks to the loyal gardener! Amazing. Thank you for a magical break and we hope to return.

This villa is fabulous for extended families like ours. Every room is beautifully appointed, the grounds very well kept and extensive and the swimming pool is superb. We had all we needed for wonderful days at the villa as well as being easily able to get to places like Lucca, Pisa and Montecarlo. A very big thank you to Silvia and Lorenzo for being such good hosts.

We had a lovely stay at Leonardos villa in the hills of the Tuscany. The place has different villas that are within walking distance of each other but with enough distance so that privacy is kept. The villa is very rustic and old, which creates the Italian charm, but of course ants also find their way into the house which you need to be aware of. We were not disturbed by that and loved the country- style feeling of the place!

We had a fantastic stay at the wonderful Meriggio Barn. The photos don’t do this gorgeous property justice! The house itself is beautiful, classically decorated and expansive space and very well equipped kitchen. All three bedrooms were a great size and the air conditioning kept us nice and cool . The house is set within beautiful rolling Tuscan hills with great views all around, enabling us to enjoy stunning sunsets every evening. The infinity pool was absolutely fantastic - a lot bigger than we expected and we had lots of fun relaxing and keeping cool in the water. The location is great - 40 mins to Pisa and the same for Florence, so we enjoyed visiting those cities as well as getting the train from Florence to Rome. Elisa and the owner Adolfo were perfect hosts, helping us swiftly with any questions we had or recommendations required (the tip to drive and park at the tram stop was perfect, as well as the recommendations for the best local pizza!). The home exceeded our expectations! We spent a wonderful week there with our family. A fantastic house, magical place and lots to see and do in the nearby area! The host couple was very nice and helpful - a compliment to them! The house and kitchen were well-equipped and we lacked absolutely nothing - but now that we leave we miss the house and look forward to coming back! Ciao - see you!

A massive thank you to fabrizio and his family for the most amazing time in his beautiful home . The house and location is stunning and it went way beyond our expectations and hopes for our first Tuscan adventure . So welcoming from the first moment , full of advice and recommendations . Nothing is too much trouble for Fabrizio as all he wants is his guests to have the best time possible . I could say so many great things about this house , the pictures on the listing sell it but you can’t fully appreciate the beauty and feeling of this house and the location until you arrive . This house is fabrizio ‘s dream , designing it and taking many years to complete . He is so proud ,and this really shows when you arrive and meet Fabrizio and his daughter for the first time . We will definitely be back to stay again , so tempted to book 3 weeks next time though !! Thank you so much Fabrizio !! Oh! I must also say that the wine from your vineyards is just the best 😎 Till next time 😉

Marco and his family are impeccable hosts who made us feel at home. Available and always responsive. House in a great location and convenient both for going to the sea and for spending a quiet day by the pool. I'd go back!

We had a lovely week. Unfortunately, the pool was much too cold around that time. In high summer, it will certainly give good cooling. The garden is a paradise for dogs. We were 11 adults. The 5 rooms were too few for this. The kitchen equipment was sufficient for 12 people. We were able to cook and barbecue extensively. Unfortunately, the coffee maker was not enough for everyone. Only the conventional method helped. The separate wine cabinet was used extensively by us. All in all a good place for Max. 10 adults and two young kids at a warm season.

Excellent experience. The hosts were hospitable but at the same time left us a lot of privacy. It was like being alone in the villa. The house is very nice and spacious. The outdoor space with a pool and garden is fabulous. Great experience I recommend.

The villa is gorgeous scenic experience with views of the Tuscan hills. We came in Winter so we couldn’t use the lovely pool but enjoyed a wine tasting just up the street at Tenuta Maria Teresa. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and we loved congregating in the living room to play games. We cooked meals in the kitchen and had what we needed. It was very private and tranquil location 12 minutes from Lucca. The hosts were friendly, communicative, and worked with us easily on check in and out times even letting us arrive early. It is typical in Italy to pay for heat consumption, came out to 226 euro for three days even when turning it low when gone for the day so just something to keep in mind as it is a large villa. Overall, a lovely experience and highly recommend the location. We’d come back.

John was a great host. The villa had everything you could possibly need and the photo’s don’t do it justice. Amazing property and we had a great time with a group of 12 friends. Could not recommend it more.

Vittorio was very friendly and responsive. The property was as described and in a peaceful and private setting but with Lucca easily accessible. The accommodation is spacious and extremely clean and would be good for a large family gathering.

We had a wonderful time in the villa and would highly recommend staying there for a relaxing vacation surrounded by olive trees. Beatrice was a lovely host. Thank you 🤍

David was a great host. He responded to our messages immediately. He recommended and booked for us a great local wine tasting. He also drove part of the group back to the airport upon leaving. The villa itself was in a very peaceful quiet area. You definitely require a car to get around. There are driveable grocery stores, cafes and train stations not too far. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna. The pool was heated at a small extra cost which we found agreeable. The house comfortably slept all 13 of us. There were plenty of towels, linen etc. There is a washing machine, which was also great. We found the fridge was sightly low in power, some of the kitchen gadgets did not work i.e. blender, and we lacked some things like toilet paper and dishwashing liquid - however these were minor issues. Overall we had a great stay, and would like to thank David for all the help along the way!

Very enjoyable retreat. It is outside of any of the major cities, but a reasonable drive (20-30 minutes) to be in town. The location is in the country, but there are still good restaurants nearby. The pool was fantastic, especially given the temperatures were hotter than normal during our stay. It was great for our family of four.

Loved the villa!!! Alexandra was a great host and has a beautiful villa. She was quick to respond to any questions. She arranged for a private chef on our last night and it was amazing. We will most definitely recommend her villa to our family and friends. Ciao

We loved staying at Enis’ house- it was a privilege to stay in this beautiful home. The house has everything you need and the outside gardens are beautiful. The pool is lovely and large. Enis and Elena are such warm and helpful hosts. We took up the offer of a home cooked Tuscan four course meal which they created and served to us. It was our best night of the holiday. Thank you so much.

Great location with a great view.

Had a wonderful vacation in Lucca. Lovely villa and swimming pool. Surroundings where you only hear the birds chirping. The road to the villa was a challenge every day with our van. We greatly enjoyed it and our batteries are recharged. Recommend!

I was in this house for my thirtieth birthday with 7 friends. We had a great time, relaxing area with zero noise. Valente has always been available for any request. The house was well-kept, clean and very well-equipped. I hope to come back on other occasions
