The accommodation has a private entrance and a private outdoor space for breakfasts and lunches to enjoy in the silence. Inside you will find a studio apartment with a queen size bed, wardrobe, bathroom with shower and a kitchenette with table, all renovated and furnished in a simple tuscan style.

The accommodation is located on a country farm, a 5-minute drive from the center of Volterra. After Porta Diana, take a short stretch of the Municipal road of S. Margherita until you reach a dirt road, the sign Bosco dell'Iris Nero leads you, along a 900-meter path, to the location. Here there are chestnut trees, olive trees, flowers and a pleasant view of the valley. You can meet roe deer, porcupines and wild boars. The cuckoo, the hoopoe, and the woodpecker inhabit the surrounding forest.

Così com’è unico a maggio lo spettacolo delle luci delle lucciole o il canto dei grilli che danno il cambio alle cicale, scandendo le ore delle giornate d’estate; o ancora le bellissime farfalle dai colori unici in primavera.
