Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Province of Trieste

We loved this unique small place, it was so clean and Asia gave the most welcoming and friendly, easy information for all we needed. 🥰 Location is little bit up hill, but it was perfect for us, got some sport after eating so many good pizza & pasta in the city. 🍝🍕 Room was so clean and fresh, bed and pillows were great. There’s some noise from the traffic, but did not bother us at all ☺️ Good safe neighborhood, grocery store, pizza place, restaurant and pubs you can find all very close by. And just 15 min walk to the down town.

Our stay at Renata’s place was the perfect ending for our Italian family trip from Bologna to Trieste (one mother and two daughters). The house is 15-20 minutes walk from the train station, but there is a bus line also to easier access, than 5 minute walk uphill from bus station to the house. We felt safe and in peace at this accommodation. The three levelled house is gorgeous, well equipped and has a personal vibe through the little details, carefully decorated with personal treasures, unique items and renovated furnitures. Everything was perfectly prepared for our arriving, bathroom and kitchen extra tidy and clean! We got towels, slippers and Renata & Dario even got us some welcome goodies for breakfast and for snacks and welcomed us with nicely written words too. We had everything we needed in the kitchen also. The view is even better than in pictures, perfect for eating outside on the terrace, and sippin’ in the coastal atmosphere. There is simply nothing to complain about! 10/10

We absolutely loved our time at Anna’s tiny home. It was a perfect size for the two of us and the little garden outside was a lovely addition. We especially enjoyed being able to dry our laundry outside. Anna’s place is in a great location - close to restaurants that are not just for tourists, but also a short walk to the tourist area or public transit. Anna met us for check in and gave us several ideas for what to do with our time in Trieste - we ended up doing everything she suggested and had a great visit. Would absolutely come again.

Very good location, centrally located in Barcola, but quiet. Great ambiance, beautiful rooms. And René was an excellent host, very accommodating, always available, informative, very friendly, thank you very much. Without a doubt, I would book again immediately if I were in Trieste. Trieste is a great place to base yourself to explore the local region and to visit both Slovenia and Croatia. The property is located about 6kms out of Trieste but an easy drive down to the town. The property is beautifully appointed, has a great kitchen, air conditioning, swimming pool etc . Ivan (and his alternate contact Petra) are really responsive to any questions or issues you have. We stayed for two weeks and really enjoyed our time at the property. Would highly recommend staying there if you are in the Trieste region.

Cozy accommodation, with a small garden, really homely, and the location is practically perfect. The host was very responsive and helpful.

The apartment hosted by Denis was a welcoming surprise: very spacious and impeccably clean. The bedrooms are large and nicely decorated. Beds were as comfortable as can be. The living room is lovely. A separate toilet makes sharing the shower room easy. The rain shower and hand-held suits all habits. You can cook a great meal or just have an Illy espresso in their lavish kitchen. The high-ceilinged old architecture has been preserved with tasteful modern conveniences. Denis and Francesca are perfect hosts, giving great tips and answering all questions promptly. They took great care of us. The building is up a direct steep hill road from the side of the station, but a short walk to via Udine makes it much easier with luggage taking the same time. Hoping to go back and stay again.

The apartment is quite centrally located, so you can easily reach the city center on foot. In addition, the apartment is well equipped and very nicely furnished. Adriana was very friendly and helpful from start to finish. So we would stay here again at any time!

Had a great stay here. Location could not be better, 2 minutes from train station. Paola was a welcoming and accomodating host and kindly pointed out some things to do in Trieste.

Matteo was very prompt with replies to my messages. He provided very good information about the location and how to find it. His mom was waiting to greet us outside the apt, thank goodness as it was rather hidden, but not far at all from the main waking squares. The apartment was in a very secure locked, gated, charming old converted convent I think, with very upgraded windows and doors. It was very quaint. Plenty of hot water for showers. Washing machine was very useful but don't run it when you use the air conditioning unit. Very clean and tidy place. We didn't cook at all but coffee was a minute walk away. If you want to be fully immersed in the bustling nightlife of Trieste, go visit on a weekend. Tons of busy, upbeat spots to stop and have a drink and enjoy the continuous Italian chatter of the locals. Very suitable for a couple or single traveler. Trieste is a very lively, very bustling, very Italian (not many tourists or so it seemed) which made the stay well worth it.

Good place, easy access to old town and the castle. Also several bakeries with friendly staff in the same direction, and a nearby street with loads of local social life going on and creative restaurants. The apartment was spaceous, nicely organized and the presence of a washing machine with drier option is really awesome.

We were in transit for 1 night before our cruise. Super great place, lots to see. Great restaurants nearby. The apartment was great very big very comfortable. Well equipped. Highly recommend to other guests. Host was very accommodating and proactive. Great stay 😃

This is a really nice apartment, well furnished, spotlessly clean and with everything one might need. Donatella was a lovely host, she met us at the apartment even though we arrived quite late and gave us some useful tips on Trieste. The apartment is very central, lots of restaurants and cafes in the area, the boat and bus to the beaches are 5 minutes away. The apartment was also nice and quiet at night, I highly recommend it for a stay in Trieste

I stayed with Tiziana and Carlo for work reasons and the stay was excellent. Perfect location, right in the center and close to the coast, everything easily accessible on foot. Tiziana and Carlo were always available during communications and Carlo welcomed us at check-in, giving us all the necessary information for the stay. The apartment is not very large and there is not much light, but overall it was a good experience.

The stay at Mikela's was hassle-free from start to finish: Mikela welcomed us and showed us everything essential in the apartment. The location of the apartment is perfect: 10 minutes' walk to the city center, yet quiet and cozy. The apartment offers everything you could want for a short stay in Trieste.
