Pihakammari is located in the vicinity of Alvar Aalto's home; Aalto's experimental house and Säynätsalo town hall are within a radius of 2-3 km, and Muurame Church is 7 km from the accommodation. The experimental house can be seen along the ice route. The accommodation has a kitchen equipped with dishes, a coffee and kettle and a microwave, as well as a refrigerator. Ranta on ihan käden ulottuvilla mökin pihasta ja antaa mahdollisuuksia uimiseen, kalastamiseen ja souteluun. Rauhallisella mökillä vieraamme ovat nukkuneet parhaat yöunensa. Mökissä on kaikki mukavuudet ja hyvä varustelu. Mökki lämpiää ilmalämpöpumpulla ja leivinuunilla. Saunassa on puulämmitteinen kiuas. Sisä-wc ja suihku, sekä astian- ja pyykinpesukoneet löytyvät.
