Get that touch of British history while relaxing in this bright and spacious apartment. Play a few tunes on the piano or take a break on the welcoming sofa. Then cook something delicious and invite a few people over for a traditional English meal or relax in the garden with a coffee The apartment sleeps 4 people in two double bedrooms. The main bedroom is a lovely and bright twin aspect room with a super kingsize double bed. The other bedroom has a single bed with a pull out single bed to sit alongside. This bedroom can be perfectly adapted for children if required. Both rooms have plenty of storage. All linen for beds is provided. The family bathroom has a bath with over bath shower mixer. Luxury towels are provided. The living area has plenty of comfortable seating a flat screen TV, DVD player, CD music system and a dining table and chairs to seat 6 people. The kitchen area is well stocked with everything you could need including microwave, washing machine and dryer, stove-top hob and double oven. The apartment is very well laid out and set over the first floor it has its own private entrance and free parking within the private gated grounds of the main house. The annex is modernly equipped with WiFi and TV with Sky Cable Television & DVD player. Wifi is available free of charge if you bring your laptop. Bowling Green House has an interesting history and William Pitt a former British Prime Minister lived in the house and died there in 1806. The current art deco house was built on the site of the original building in 1933. Bowling Green House is in a great location in Zone 2, just 5 minutes from the bus routes to central London, Wimbledon Village or Putney where the train or the tube will whisk you into central London in 15 minutes. It is not only ideally located for Wimbledon tennis and the shops and boutiques, bars and restaurants of Putney and Wimbledon but also provides an ideal location to walk, run or explore the surrounding green areas of Wimbledon Common and Royal Richmond Park where the many activities include cycling, running and horse riding. Alternatively you can travel by river taxi going East to the Houses of Parliament & Tower Bridge or West to Hampton Court Palace. If you have a car or you wish to rent a car there is free parking and Bowling Green House provides easy access to the A3 and M25 and of course central London. On site you will receive a welcome pack with our tips on where to go to eat and drink, transportation links, and local gems. Experience a place of calm and tranquillity surrounded by Wimbledon Common, with the benefit of being only minutes away from busy and stylish Putney and Wimbledon. Every amenity is close by, and central London is only a quick train or tube ride away. Bowling Green House is in a great location in Zone 2, just 5 minutes from the bus routes to central London, Wimbledon Village or Putney where the train or the tube will whisk you into central London in 15 minutes. If you have a car or you wish to rent a car there is free private parking and Bowling Green House provides easy access to the A3 and M25 and of course central London. We would be happy to arrange a cab from Heathrow or Gatwick to Bowling Green House for you. Cost to be confirmed before booking. Guests must sign rental agreements prior to check-in. Terms of the contract will be messaged to the guest prior to booking. We suggest, if you can, for free Wi-fi access to bring your laptop. To makes things easier when travelling with small children we can provide travel cot and highchair if needed.

WELCOME The apartment is bright and sunny, with a lovely garden. The décor is neutral, all the walls are painted white to add to the tranquillity of the space. We live in a quiet area, surrounded by large family homes and trees. You may come here to experience a different part of London, a side of tranquillity many British for. You can dip your toe in upscale British suburbia and experience an oasis of countryside within one of the biggest city's of the world. We live above the flat and welcome any questions or concerns you may have during your stay. We enjoy good food, art and architecture among many other things, and can recommend some fantastic sites to see during your stay in London and in this home. LOCATION We are located in Wimbledon, a slightly suburban part of London, It is a perfect location to retire to after a long day of sightseeing, with its peaceful, country like atmosphere, nevertheless at a hop from the heart of London. 2 minutes walk to Wimbledon Common 6 minutes walk to Wimbledon Tennis Club 10 minutes walk to Wimbledon Village 17 minutes walk to Wimbledon Station with transport links to Waterloo and the rest of central London via the District line. Buses at a 3 minute walk from the apartment, leave regularly with destinations to Putney (10 minutes) or Morden via Wimbledon Station (6 minutes) and South Wimbledon Station (13 minutes). THE FLAT The flat is located on the ground floor of a 1960s townhouse Comprising a large double bedroom with French doors opening onto the garden, a shower room and a kitchen/diner. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and cooker, a fridge/freezer and a washing machine/dryer. The shower room is newly refurbished, with a large power shower, sink and toilet. The bedroom is complete with a flat screen TV (with built in wireless), a CD/DVD player and a large couch to put your feet up at the end of the day. There are also large storage cabinets in the bedroom. Wifi is also provided. We provide cotton bedding and towels and can also provide tea, coffee and milk.

Closest small food shop 5mins walk. The bedroom has a double bed, storage space, bistro table & TV (Netflix). A large double room in our Edwardian period home which is in a quiet part of Southfields, South West London close to Wimbledon tennis club and a few minutes walk to bus or Southfields tube zone 3. Get to Central London in 35 mins. There is a bus stop at the end of the road which is a 10 min ride to Clapham Junction, it takes 10mins by train into Waterloo or Victoria. There is a desk and chair in this room. Please note we can not accept long term bookings from couples & no eating in the room.

The garden flat is very cosy and comfortable with it's own side entrance and parking space. Bright, sunny, warm in winter days with a well equipped kitchen and WiFi. The house Backs into Richmond Park. Richmond park's golf course is a 1 minute walk from the house or you can enter via Robin Hood Gate which is 7 minutes walk. Stag Lodge Stables is also a 7 minute walk from the house if you want to try horse riding. There is a 24hr Asda Superstore directly opposite the house.

Bright double room close to Wimbledon.

I’m renting out my lovely double bedroom. It’s a lovely-sized room with lots of natural light. The property is a 3 min walk to Raynes park station. Which has direct access to London main stations including Wimbledon/ Waterloo/Vauxhall. You’re also on the door step of many supermarkets and local cafes and restaurants . My favourite supermarket is the big Waitrose which is a 5-minute walk from the apartment. A visitor parking passes are available for an extra fee.

Bright En-suite in Wimbledon

Doreen and Jimmy‘s place was absolutely perfect. The spacious en-suite room is in the loft of their beautiful three story townhouse, so feels very private. It’s situated in a quiet leafy suburb and Wimbledon Park tube station is just a five minute walk, Wimbledon Park a 10 minute walk, and Wimbledon Village a 20 minute walk. Doreen and Jimmy are so welcoming and friendly, and on hand if needed. The room was immaculately clean, with a spacious bathroom, and comfy beds. They kindly left toiletries in the bathroom, and copious different teas, cafeteria coffee, biscuits, milk, and breakfast items. This was so generous and welcome and far and away the best Air B&B experience we have had. Do not hesitate to book if you need London accommodation.

The place is great located, clean and bright. Only 7 min walk to the tube station, one stop to Wimbledon village. Coffee shops and grocery stores around, everything you need. Comfortable bed in the room and small patio. Kaushal is so helpful and responsive host. I highly recommend this place!
