Holiday rentals with beach access in Queens

Jeannette was there to greet us and made sure we knew where everything was and that we had everything we needed. She even provided breakfast. Her place was immaculate. The location was amazing. She made our departure very easy. We are looking forward to staying there again. If you looking for a great place to stay, this is it.

This is our second time staying with Johanna and we hope to return in the future. It was a comfy home base while visiting family, and the host is always welcoming & a great communicator regarding house instructions, and available to answer questions. Happy guests!

Doyen is the best host I’ve had in recent trips. He was very attentive, and most importantly, he was there for us all the time.

Well placed between the beach and train to New York City. Excellent restaurants, shops and supermarket within blocks. Quiet neighborhood with easy parking on street. Well furnished and allowed us to cook dinners at home. Having an outside private terrace was a bonus. Well stocked with incidentals that helped make it feel more like home. We would highly recommend to others.

Ronald was super helpful and kind. I loved the backyard beach. You can walk to restaurants on the water. I would stay again.

Can’t say enough great things about John’s property! Our family (2 adults and 2 teens) loved our long weekend away. The location is amazing, right across the street from the beach entrance and walkable to a couple eateries, supermarket and subway. It was spotless, spacious and just as shown in the pictures. Stocked with the basics, nice kitchen with everything we needed. We had a couple small questions and couldn’t get over how responsive and nice John and Ashley are. Also super easy check out, which was extra nice. We are already looking forward to booking a trip to come back!

My daughters and I had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect for our needs, and I really appreciated being able to park our rental car in the driveway—so convenient. Will and Kim were excellent hosts—very easy to communicate with and responsive. The house was clean, comfortable, and just right for us. We would absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay here again in the future!

As business professionals visiting the area for a nearby charity golf outing, this was our second stay at this beautiful home—and it was just as pristine as last year. The cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail inside are exceptional, and the waterfront deck offers stunning views that make for a truly relaxing experience. Beautiful layout and views: The living room extends to an expansive harbor view as we opened the door. When we turn around the lofty A frame transitions into the bedroom connected by a wooden spiral stair. Interior appliances are good and functional. Plenty of Pillows and blankets to get cozy. The Weber Grill is great to use. We used public transport and Uber and it was pretty easy to get around - 15 mins to nearby scenes and restaurants.

Truly one of a kind property. Relaxing, calm, extremely responsive and helpful host. If you are looking to get out of the city or just need some time away to think, look no further. 10/10.

The captains cottage was amazing. Great view of cold spring Harbour and perfect space for family w kids. Went for a great hike in the adjacent state park

Tremendous value and a better host. Nick was prompt, polite, and prepared. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of parking in direct proximity to the home. Short ride share trip to the LIRR which provides easy access to Penn or Central. Would be grateful to stay here again, especially at the price point extended.

I didn’t expect much from this apartment, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was healing from an injury, and the quiet setting was just what I needed. The little red room was charming, the bathroom very clean, and the location—on a tranquil block just steps from the beach—was relaxing and convenient. The other guests were warm and accommodating, and the kindness of the locals truly melted my heart! I had a lovely stay and was very productive.

Very nice apartment with a great rooftop are - beautiful view from there. Area is very quiet, next to the water with nice restaurants and bars in walking distance.

We had a wonderful stay! Our unit was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Sherri was super accommodating of our family and very responsive.

If you are looking to explore New York for a few days or longer then Jay's place is great. Just a few minutes from the Long Beach station, Penn or Grand Central are about an hour away on a direct LIRR train. You will save $$$ by staying here compared with Manhattan. Long Beach is a safe, full of interesting shops. The 10km boardwalk is just a few minutes away. The apartment of character in a listed building full of charm. Loved the well stocked kitchen and would not hesitate to come back again.

The spacious condo was spotless and bright with high ceilings. Plenty of room to spread out. Communication with the host was fast, they were very accommodating. The unit was very quiet and comfortable, easy to sleep. The kitchen is well equipped. I hope this will be available next time I’m in the area!
