Bungalow holiday rentals in Raiatea

This place is absolutely amazing 🤩 Everything was perfect ! The beach house is incredible (and has everything you need) , the view is fabulous and location is 5 minutes walk to town, Yacht Club .. Hosts are really great and helpful . Thank you Ray and Terai for this wonderful stay 🙏🏻 we’ll be back ASAP. This place is definately one of my favorites ❤️

For us, this incredible place was the absolute perfect way to experience Bora Bora. The property itself is flawless - comfortable, clean, well stocked, and of course the location and views are spectacular. We spent many days just happily ensconced in the bungalow - drinking coffee watching the sunrise and listening to the roosters, snorkeling right off the house, eating dinner on the deck, floating in the evening with the fish who congregated around the under water lights. Communication was easy and plentiful, check in was a breeze. I was worried that I would regret not staying at a resort but if I had to do it again, I would make the same choice - staying in the bungalow gave us the freedom to experience the area on our own time, and after talking to many people staying at resorts, I really believe it to be the better option by far. Can't say enough about how wonderful our time was in the bungalow!

The apartment is as described and fairly small but suited our purposes. The outdoor kitchen area is basically equipped but had the essentials and the location can't be faulted for it's proximity to the surprisingly well-stocked supermarket and restaurants. All talk tends to be of the Yacht club but for food we found the kitchen of Métis in a different league, as well as the staff much more friendly. We didn't have the time (and the weather turned on us a bit) to be able to enjoy the use of the kayaks but can appreciate that it would have been a good spot to do so otherwise. We'd certainly recommend this place and the islandecotours half day excursion which the host helpfully recommended.

We loved our stay at the bungalow for our honeymoon. Pierre was extremely thorough in his recommendations and instructions for very smooth travels to this remote location. Listen to him about the rental car :) it helped us a ton get to restaurants we needed. His recommendation for the massage therapy who came to the bungalow and set up a table was the best massage of my life. Splurge on this! Anyone traveling I recommend exchanging money instead of relying on credit card (and no one on island we met used person to person pay app). There were some really pesky mosquitoes in the unit kitchen, but that's to be expected in the tropics. Spray killer was provided, but we didn't want to inhale the chemicals or risk it getting on items we would use to consume. Perhaps a mosquito net in the bedroom could be a useful upgrade. We had a bit of an issue with the safe (either low battery or user error), but Pierre had an immediate resolution for us. Definitely pack your snorkel masks - great fish!

Great place to stay with lovely sunrise

Beautiful bungalow in a great location you can’t beat the outlook overlooking the ocean at the rear of the property with steps directly onto the small beach! Comfortable bed and all the amenities you need to make it home from home including a washer and dryer which was very useful and the bungalow was extremely clean!

Beautiful bungalow in a stunning location. As many others have already mentioned, the views of the lagoon from the house are without peer. Pointe Matira is the best location on Bora Bora, and Frank’s house is perfectly located at the southern tip of the point. It’s quiet, private, and surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Frank was an extremely responsive & accommodating host. We will gladly return in the future.

Tumu Ora was our half acre of heaven for 8 days. The private dock and beach are fantastic and the accommodations are simple and charming. Everything we needed was provided. It was great to be able to easily walk to Fare at a moment’s notice. Lisa was easy to work with and was very accommodating with our questions and minor itinerary change a few weeks before arrival. We had no issues with security or dogs barking in the night. Did I say how great the dock is? So great. We spent the majority of our trip on it, reading, eating, relaxing, diving and snorkeling. The other place that we spent the most time in was the air conditioned bedroom. A life saver as temps never left the mid eighties (with full humidity). The WiFi was solid. Bugs were not a problem for my wife, but they did pester me a little. Not that I saw them, maybe 2-3 mosquitoes the whole time and the itches were forgotten after a quick dip in the sea. We would definitely come back to Tumu Ora. Didn’t really want to leave.

We had a very good stay at Fare Tepua Lodges. The accommodation is very well located, quiet and right next to a very convenient supermarket and it has everything you need. The hosts are also very responsive and kind. I highly recommend it!

Hard to say anything different than any of the other 5 stars review that you will find related to Mathieu’s place. Bungalow is charming, well decorated, clean, beds are comfortable and there is communal kitchen that is well stocked. The location could not be better - you swim out and there is an amazing coral garden- you really don’t need to bother spending money to go to the “official coral garden”. Mathieu is a fantastic host and helped us with everything we needed. The option (paid apart) to have breakfast and dinner was really nice - food was delicious and a large portion (we only tried dinner). He has bikes and kayaks in relatively good condition available and we took great advantage of those! Definitely recommend and would come back!

Great place! So beautiful and tranquil! Felt so bougie and the finer touches elevated our stay. The lay out is so much fun and one of the coolest airbnbs we have stayed in. The neighbour Cherie was soo beautiful inside and out saving our lives and her amazing garden was top notch. Love to Moana as she and Eruwini were awesome! MauruuruuROA

Very warm and helpful host. Miriam allowed us to check in way before our check-in time as our flight had arrived early on New Year's Day and everything was closed. She arranged a taxi for us and ensured that we had food, etc.

This is my second time at Fare Tepua. That's exactly what we're looking for, everything is perfect, very convenient and in a good location. My favorite address in Raiatea

Fabulous modern bungalow. As described - felt brand new, sparkling clean, modern & bright, super comfortable, very well equipped. You’ll want transport, as it’s a bit far, but it makes for a calm, peaceful neighborhood. Loved our stay here!

Good geographical location on the island. Pleasant accommodation, located near the road but little traffic especially at night Sunset viewpoint just in front of the accommodation
