"Aunt Ann's Apartment" in the Woods

Come stay in the woods in a charming studio apartment with a spacious farm view off the porch while you sip on your morning cup of coffee. Ann will be your host should you need anything or have any questions. With easy access off of I80, you'll be just a short drive (about 13 mins) from Black Moshannon State Park and about a 40 minute drive to Penn State. Lots of great nature related places to visit such as Sinnemahoning State Park, Bald Eagle State Park, Bennezette (elk sightings), and others.

Hometown Hideaway

Enjoy your visit in the cheery and bright basement of my home where you have a private entrance, separate parking, full kitchen area, access to a quiet patio area that has been newly added, gas grill available and lots of greenery and woods in the backyard. I am one mile to the beautiful town area where you can enjoy our riverwalk, access restaurants, shopping is convenient as well. If your a Penn State fan I am 46 minutes away ( 41 miles). Simply furnished, but comfortable. Coffee maker (Keurig) and coffee. AC, Microwave and Refrigerator. Wifi . TV with basic cable. Pets Welcome.

Cottage in Warriors Mark

Our Cottage was originally the Barber shop here in Warriors Mark. It was eventually converted into an efficiency apartment. I completely renovated the Cottage over the summer of 2024. The space is very comfortable and inviting with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The space is perfect for a couple. The loveseat easily converts to a full size bed 51x72 inches. It is comfortable for one adult or 2 children.

We have extensively remodeled this special home and brought it forward from the 1960s while maintaining its character, including the original wrought iron railing and open vaulted living room. We've also incorporated some elements of Altoona's history into the home. It's the perfect cozy and welcoming space to rest and relax whether traveling for work, visiting family, or exploring the beautiful surrounding area.
