In winter, there is a cross-country ski trail just behind the cabin, and you can take on alpine skiing just outside the cabin door and run to the alpine resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

Det er en kort spasertur til Lemonsjøen Fjellstue her serveres det gode lunsjer og middagsretter, her er også sykkelutleie og mange flott løyper like ved. Kalven Sæter urban kaffebar er også verdt et besøk. Kun en kort kjøretur unna hytta ligger kjente turmål som Besseggen, Galdhøpiggen og Glittertind.
