Cosy fire, Vault bathroom. Multi-night discounts. Continental breakfast. Cafe and Pub within a two minute walk. River and bush walks a plenty. A fabulous diversion encompassing spectacular views. You will be staying in the character filled, old Kimbolton BNZ Bank (complete with teller box). This is a great Digital Nomad option - with ski fields within 2.5 hours. I live in the "Managers Quarters" which are through a door from the bank (the walls are very thick).

We had a fantastic stay at National park over the weekend! We spent two nights, and the house was absolutely perfect, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They shared great recommendations for places to visit and even helped us rent all the necessary equipment for the Tongariro Crossing. We definitely recommend this place and can't wait to come back in the winter season to experience it again.

What a fantastic place! Very well set up with everything you need for a short or long stay. So comfortable and homey. We were just one couple but it also would be super for a large family group. It can sleep a lot of people comfortably and the communal space is large, like what you would find in a lodge. Great location. We walked up from the train and were able to walk to dinner and to some nice trails.

We loved the comfort, warmth and homely feel of this property. The hosts were easy and friendly to communicate with. The property itself was clean, tidy and is nicely styled. The spa was clean and set to just the right temperature for our stay. There were a few card and board games along with some books of interest that kept us entertained. The TV was very easy to navigate. Linens and bedding were nice. The checkout was easy. Our entire stay we felt relaxed and we would gladly stay again.

Peaceful setting - stunning mountain views

A beautiful home with a great view of Ruapehu. Our family, a group of 6 adults felt really comfortable and warm. The fireplace and the heat pump kept us cosy. Plenty of chopped wood outside as well. The interiors were done amazingly and all cutleries and amenities were fully functional. Will definitely recommend, and will be keen to come back in the future.

Absolutely loved our stay at Andrew’s, it was so peaceful and surrounded by beautiful native bush, meaning the bird life was bountiful. The house was everything we needed, the fireplaces made us feel at home and cozy. Communication was great, and Catherine was super helpful and always available for questions. Great home for families with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The living space was very comfortable, and the addition of a range of family boardgames was great. The home is set in a quiet tranquil area overlooking forest/bush which provided lovely walks. Easy 10mins walk to Carrotland which is an an awesome adventure playground and activity area with pump track, bike tracks, playground etc. Our 7yr old loved it. We had some issues with running water when we arrived but Charlotte was super responsive and helpful and it was all resolved within an hour...and Charlotte provided a wee gift basket (nibbles and wine) in acknowledgement of our being slightly put out. Charlotte was very thoughtful and responsive in managing the whole issue. We will absolutely stay again. It was a lovely comfortable home.
