Misty Mountain Hut-Ruapehu is located in the sleepy little village of Rangataua, 5 minutes distance to Mountain road going up to the Turoa skifield and Ohakune. The 1 bedroom colonial villa has a beautiful view of the mountain. Unlimited wifi and a new firebox with plenty of firewood and a heat pump ensure you are warm in winter. My favourite time here is summer for amazing walks/cycling up mountains to enjoy majestic views. Misty Mountain Hut supports local staff by paying $40/hr for cleaning.

Bellview Cottage Feilding

Come make yourselves at home at our fully self-contained freshly renovated cottage with beautiful views overlooking Feilding with private off-street parking in front of cottage. With everything you need provided to make yourselves breakfast. It's a 15min walk (3 minutes by car) to the centre of Feilding where the farmers markets are held on Fridays. 7-minute drive to Manfeild Park 16-minute drive from Palmerston North airport. There is additional parking if required (please advise if needed)

Central towns, such as Whanganui and Palmerston North are just over an hour away. Further afield are Napier (2hrs), Taupo (2 hrs), and Wellington (3hrs) making Taihape the perfect central pitstop.

Please note this is a Historic Shearer's Quarters. If you have mobility issues please be aware there are no ramps and only steps.

"The Unit" is a Private self contained space away from the main house at the rear of the Garage. It is cosy with views of the countryside. Located 3 minutes up the hill from Taihape township. The Unit gives you all the comforts of home on your journey so you can relax and enjoy your stay. Taihape is a farming town and with the Main Highway going right through it's centre, plenty of choice for dining out. Taihape is commonly Warm summer and cold winter weather. We cater for both.

'Brookfields'-Farm stay Hideaway

Unit is available this weekend- 22nd-23rd May! Do you or your kids need time with a puppy? Our Border Collie pup is 6 weeks old and loves to play! Set in an idyllic setting, this lifestyle block is only 10 minutes from Feilding but feels like a world away! At Brookfields you can retreat to the farm, bush and stream! You will be staying in the character filled, old Kimbolton BNZ Bank (complete with teller box). This is a great Digital Nomad option - with ski fields within 2.5 hours. I live in the "Managers Quarters" which are through a door from the bank (the walls are very thick).
