Indoor & outdoor dining and lots of room to relax, 2 separate lounge areas (both with televisions). Off-street parking for 3 cars.

Kingfisher Creek, Adelaide Hills

Kingfisher Creek is a retreat hideaway where family and friends can enjoy the good things in life. The atmosphere at Kingfisher Creek is peaceful and the secluded hill-set house is surrounded by 20 acres of breathtaking views including native bush land and the charming winter-lake. Upon arrival, guests will be treated to the Kingfisher Creek experience with an open fire, outdoor hot tub, comfortable furnishings, warm lighting, complimentary toiletries, fresh eggs, and bread to toast.

Duckcottage: quaint stone cottage

Duckcottage is a five room stone settlers cottage built in 1853 on five acres of bushland at Second Valley. The property is now a refuge for wildlife so it is NOT suitable for dogs or cats. We call it 'duck' cottage because of the height of the doorways. It has been lovingly restored, and the habitat for birds and native animals has been established through revegetation. The property is secluded (there are no neighbours in sight) but it is a short drive to the beach.

Whether your heading to the island or leaving, this is perfect location to stop, unwind, revive before you continue your journey. Or you may want to trek a section of the Heysen Trail, or trek through Deep Creek National Park, or just do nothing and relax. NOTE: minimum 2 nights over Long Weekends.
