Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Redfern

Our experience was wonderful. The terrace house was very comfortable and well appointed. Peter was super responsive and flexible as a host. Although we chose the location to primarily be close to family in Redfern, we found it to also be wonderfully close to transit, and great local coffee shops, cafes and bakeries.

Our family of four had a fantastic stay at Michael’s house. The location was new to us but had lots of great shopping and eating options and being close to Redfern station made getting into the city a breeze. The house itself is super cute and beautifully presented. A lot of thought has gone into making sure you have everything you’d ever need for a short or long stay, even including a bottle of wine and a packet of tim tams in the fridge. We appreciated Michael meeting us at the house when we arrived to show us around and were especially grateful for his flexibility around check in/out times to fit around our flights. Definitely one of the best all round air bnbs we’ve stayed in.

Suzanna's place was situated in a quiet tree lined street. It is a short walk from parks, cafes and restaurants. The house had plenty of living room and good sized bedrooms and bathroom. Communication with the host was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

In town for the Sydney Writer’s Festival, and Max’s place was just perfect. Everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and easily walkable!

I really enjoyed my stay at this wonderful Airbnb, a great location to see everything Sydney has to offer. Very tastefully designed and holds the charm that is Camperdown/ Newtown houses. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

Great place to stay in Sydney. Close to university campus. Easy to get to the train station Redfern to get into the city and bus stops at the university to get to Bondi. The house was nice and tidy on arrival. Beds was firm and very nice. Three stories with dining room, living room, kitchen, laundry and toilet on the bottom floor. Bedrooms on middle and top floor. We cooked some meals in the kitchen, it was all functional. Would stay again!

Delightful stay in Newtown :-) Only a block back from King St but no traffic noise or noisy pubs. Hard to believe I was staying the hub of Newtown. Easily caught buses, trains, and an uber from my accommodation to the city CBD and airport. All services were regular - did not have to wait longer than 5 mins for any transport. Easily walked to RPAH, directions to access the accommodation were very easy to understand. Felt like a home away from home, very cosy bedroom with all amenities, extremely clean, tidy, warm (stayed late May), good shower pressure, all needs catered for with fridge, toaster, kettle, table and chairs, a light and bright space. I really enjoyed my stay which was a chaotic visit for combined work and pleasure but felt relaxed as soon as I walked in the door. Also felt safe walking from the train station to the accommodation after 8pm. Lots of people around and well lit streets.

Great spot in Potts Point... 10 minutes from Kings Cross station so half an hour from the airport. 15 minute walk to NSW art gallery. Great spot. Loved the Grumpy Bakery & Bar opposite, and the room was very comfortable. No complaints at all. Would stay there again.

This was a fantastic place for our 3 month's stay in Sydney. The apartment is beautifully decorated and maintained, with excellent kitchen and other appliances. Lovely hot bath and showers and comfy beds. The back patio was very relaxing after a busy day sightseeing. Access to the indoor pool and jacuzzi was an added bonus. The location was perfect: supermarkets just down the street, lots of local cafes and restaurants, and excellent public transit everywhere, from Sydney CBD to Bondi and Coogee beaches. Easy walk (or jog) to Moore Park, short bus ride or pleasant stroll to Surry Hills. Bec was a great host and a delight to work with. We really hope we can come back soon!

The size of the apartment was good and had fantastic links to public transport within a short walk!

a warmly personal apartment in the best part of inner Sydney. Accessible to, but not part of the tourist icons. A tremendous local area of amenity and charm. We lived here for 28 years before moving interstate. The area is 'The Best' - and this apartment building is well known and revered by the locals. For good reason. Natacha as host was very helpful, warm and welcoming. The apartment itself is personal and considered; not cookie cutter. And very thoughtfully equipped. The photos are accurate.

We had a lovely 2 weeks in Sydney staying in Sanchias perfect flat . Very handy for transport and food shopping. Just a few minutes on the train to central Sydney . The flat had everything we needed for our stay . We found the washer / dryer to be very useful ( we needn’t have brought so many clothes) The balcony was lovely to have breakfast on ( we were lucky it was particularly warm for Easter) All in all a wonderful stay , thank you Sanchia

Beautiful apartment in a great part of Newtown - so many great cafes and restaurants, easily walkable to the Newtown and Macdonaldtown train station. Malcom was very helpful throughout the booking process, and made us feel at home immediately we arrived. The unit is delightful, with natural light from the leafy verandah room giving a lovely feel. The main bed was very comfortable, and the second bed which we requested was comfortable also. Linen and towels were of very good quality, and the fridge, pantry and bathroom were well stocked. We were provided with fresh artisanal bread and croissants on our arrival - a thoughtful touch and much appreciated! The 470 bus stop is a few metres from the building entrance, and it’s a short trip to the city; restaurants and coffee shops are also close by. Thank you, Malcolm, for making our Film Festival holiday so enjoyable!

Great location beautiful property well maintained

Strongly recommend for the stay in Sydney, especially if you are beach lover! Location super convenient to the congee and great amenities within short distance. Although we did not get a chance to nice Penny, from the conversation with her, I can feel she is a sincere host and help you along the way even before arrival. Her place is spotlessly clean and comfortable to stay.

I've rented Brendan's apartment a few times the past few years. It's in a great location, a Central station entrance is right next door, and plenty of local eateries nearby. The apartment was spotlessly clean as always and has everything you need for a long stay (washer, dryer, ironing board, reliable Internet, tv connections). Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough great things about our stay at Sharon’s one bedroom in the city! First, Sharon was a gem of a host! She was very responsive and sent detailed instructions with pictures for check in, knowing it could be confusing to find. She was also flexible to allow us to drop off bags early, which was a huge help! The apartment was just as described, a comfy space to come back to after big days of exploring! It was very clean and had all we needed for our stay.

Al is really responsive and accomodating. It is a filled with complete amenities and the best part it is really at CBD, abt 8mins walk fr the Museum station and along Oxford St.

This little apartment is in a perfect location to walk all things Double Bay. It is neat, tidy & very very comfortable.
