To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Bring your family and friends to this great place along Glomma in Østerdalen. The property has a beach line and very good opportunities for both swimming, fishing, paddling with a canoe or kayak. In addition, an annex, gapahuk and sauna are available. Hot tub open from Jun-Oct. The cabin has three spacious bedrooms with 8 beds and the annex has in addition 3 beds. The cabin has a good standard with a new well-equipped kitchen and cozy bathroom. Laundry room and extra toilet in the basement. Great outdoor areas with fire pits.

Therefore best suited for families or good friends, as well as the possibility to set up an extra bed in the "library". It is about a 10-minute walk down to the city center with the railway station and the University and 3 km up to Birkebeinerstarten, as well as about 3 km to Rena camp. There is also a gazebo/greenhouse on the property that can be used to have your morning coffee or relax with a good book

The stone cabins at Kastad farm are located undisturbed in fantastic natural surroundings. The cabin in the forest, like the other cabins, has stunning views of Mjøsa and Kastadtjernet. Pannehuset and Birkenhytta

As you can see the pichtures show you two cabins, built together. The new cabin have two bedrooms, bath and a smal kitchen. Separate toilet. The old cabin has tow rooms one a bedroom , the other a living rom. The furniture is old in this rom , and has some old paintings as well. There are a stove to make it warm, nice and cosy. Firewood for free. There are plenty of space to sit outside, in wintertime this is on the starting place for Birken skirace. 3km from Rena.

The bathroom is newly renovated with a washing machine and dishwasher. In the living room there is a sofa bed, and in the armchair you will find a mattress topper that fits. In the bedroom there is a double bed. Duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels for 4 people.
