Rena city center - cafes, shops, cinema, bowling - 10 km Suitable for couples/families, child-friendly.

Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. The old cabin has tow rooms one a bedroom , the other a living rom. The furniture is old in this rom , and has some old paintings as well. There are a stove to make it warm, nice and cosy. Firewood for free. There are plenty of space to sit outside, in wintertime this is on the starting place for Birken skirace. 3km from Rena.

The cabin is located 800 meters above sea level in Hovden cabin area in Engerdal with views of the Sølen Mountains. It was completed in 2021 and has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, as well as heating cables in the floor in the bathroom and in the hallway.
