Here, you can stay in a house directly at the sea's edge in Stockholm's Archipelago. Only 30 minutes by car from Stockholm's inner city. The house consists of a double bedroom with sea views, sleep with the window open and hear the waves. Social room with fully-equipped kitchen, sofa and armchairs. Patio in two directions with both morning and evening sun. There is a small pebble beach directly adjacent to the house, 20 meters from the house there is also a wood-fired sauna you can borrow. There is a jetty 100 meters from the house.

Cozy cottage on Resarö Vaxholm, Stockholm Archipelago

Resarö is located in Vaxholm municipality, which is also called the capital of the archipelago. One advantage is that Resarö has a real road to the mainland, i.e. you can go by car, bus or bike without the need of a ferry. Communication to Stockholm and Vaxholms City is great, there are buses almost 24/7. Coming from Arlanda airport (ARN) it takes about 45 minutes by taxi. The property is set in a lush garden with animals, nature and the sea on the corner. Swimming dock in the Baltic Sea is about 200 meters from the house.

The social areas are spacious with the living room, kitchen, terass with barbeque/pizza oven and a spa/sauna house. 290 + 30 m2 house. The pool is open during maj-sept. No pets allowed. 3. Staying with Magnus - always a pleasure. No question remains unanswered, lightning-fast solutions for everything. That wasn't the last time. Be it extra tea, apples from the garden, whatever - Magnus is always there - without being intrusive. You feel very comfortable. This time with my wife for the weekend. It was fun and relaxing. Walks to the nearby beach, great restaurant on the beach, wonderful surroundings, parking right in front of the house…all good.

Modern fully equipped house on car-free island

Oskar and Justine's place was very nice! This is where you can go if you want to escape the stress of everyday life and watch birds and deer in the morning. The cottage was great for 2 people and had everything you needed. Even a washing machine was available for use. We had a great time on Edholma and would always recommend the place. The uncomplicated contact with the landlords was also good. We always got quick and accurate answers. Since we were there over Easter, the ferries didn't run as often. Otherwise, the connection to Vaxholm and other islands is great! Thank you and all the best! :-)

The small cottage is an absolute idyll with all that you need: small garden for the first coffee in the morning with a great view, well-equipped living-kitchen, cozy bedroom. Hightlight: The little wood-burning stove. From Ytterby Brugga, about 15 minutes by foot, you can easily get to the archipelago by boat. In addition, a bus stop with buses to Vaxholm and Stockholm. Annika is a really super helpful, nice host, gave many tips for excursions in the area and also offered me her bike to borrow directly. I would come back anytime.

Wonderful little stay near Vaxholm. We loved the modern amenities and the cleanliness of the house. The house is situated in a nice area in the archipelago, and we enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and down to the water. It was incredibly peaceful and quiet, yet still close to Vaxholm. There is great kayaking and a sauna less than 10 minutes away, which we enjoyed!

This place worked perfectly for me. The neighborhood is peaceful with nice walks and sea views very close by. Easy access to the bus and ferry made it easy to get into Vaxholm and Stockholm, and the host generously picked me up from the bus stop when I arrived.
