Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Restigné

We felt very lucky to be able to stay in Catherine's beautiful gite. We were made so welcome from the minute we arrived. The gite is calm, clean and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the birds and the silence. The pool was a welcome retreat during the hottest part of the day. The many trees create areas of shade whilst the flowers add colour in the many different pockets of interest. We would thoroughly recommend Catherine's gite and would love to return ourselves one day.

Franck’s property was impeccable, and the natural environment surrounding it was peaceful and so lovely. Franck greeted us warmly and was responsive to questions throughout the stay. The home was spacious and well-stocked. We stayed during an especially warm time, and Franck supplied a portable A/C unit and fan for the upstairs, so we slept comfortably. We would definitely stay again!

Great place! The exterior is a major asset: beautiful, pleasant, peaceful, an accessible cherry tree, a garden in front, a lot behind, two different atmospheres for different times of the day, a very well furnished interior. The downside that we find in other comments: insufficient dishes. And the fact that the toilets and bathrooms don't close!

Excellent stay at Hélène and Elisa's. Warm and clear welcome! The house is quiet and in the peaceful countryside while being close to the main tourist activities of the area. Thank you for this stay, we'll be happy to come back.

We had a great time with the family in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil. The house is very clean, comfortable and perfectly equipped, with everything you need to feel at home. The garden is beautiful and the setting is absolutely enchanting. The area is full of treasures to discover. A big thank you to Carole for her warm welcome and availability. We would definitely recommend this property!

‘Le Barn’, in the grounds of Chateau Belebat, is a charming accommodation which is beautifully and tastefully presented by the engaging hosts Jeff and Oscar. It is a peaceful, rural location, ideal as a base from which to explore this area of the Loire by car. For those on 2 wheels, it is worth mentioning the cycle path close by which connects to the local village with the all important Boulanger just 2km away from Le Barn. The nearby town of Richelieu is worth a visit and there are numerous other attractions in the locality. We picnicked by the river, tasted and bought wine in various Chateaux, explored Saumur, Chinon, Amboise, and several smaller villages, discovered charming restaurants, explored local markets and toured some of beautiful Chateaux gardens. Overall a wonderful spot although the little seating area outside Le Barn is not particularly private or comfortable if one wanted to chill/sleep/read a book in complete peace for an hour or two after a hard day sightseeing.

Very well-located and well-maintained accommodation. The bedding is of very good quality. The neighborhood is very quiet. In short, a perfect accommodation for a pleasant stay in Villandry.

The location of the house is good, and parking is convenient.The host's check-in instructions are clear and replies quickly.Would recommend.

Fantastic place to stay in the centre of Chinon. It was great to meet Tom and his wife and he was very knowledgeable and helpful about the local area.

The stuff fairytales are made of. Staying directly under a castle. The apartment is so well appointed. Bathed in sunlight in the mornings. Spacious & tastefully decorated. Easy 5 min walk to the centre of town. Beautiful walks across the road by the Loire. The castle is an easy 10 min walk to the castle. The apartment feels very safe. The hosts are very friendly, helpful & responsive. Highly recommend staying here.

4 days as a family in this wonderful gite in the red house. The accommodation is very spacious and has a lot of character (classified house), ideally located for walking around Chinon and shining in the area. There are all the necessary amenities, the bedding is comfortable and the apartment tastefully decorated. Thanks to Nathalie and Vincent for their warm welcome and good advice, we'll be happy to come back!

Best AirBnb Ever. Finally!!! Alleluiah;) An Airbnb where people have thought of all the little things, we feel at home;) Go there without a second thought. Extremely clean, convenient, great bathroom, no limit on hot water as is often the case ;) Etc etc... In summary, perfect. Have a good stay everyone ;)

Good experience. The accommodation was as described. Very pleasant, well arranged, very warm and functional. The bed is very large and access to the garden (a real little green oasis) is a real bonus. The only downside could be the parking. At times when the neighborhood is busy, it is rather difficult to find a place to park near the accommodation. I would definitely recommend it for a stay in Saumur.

Excellent stay in Tours! The apartment is ideally located, a stone's throw from the train station and the convention center. A supermarket is just down the street, which is very convenient. The residence is quiet, with an elevator leading directly to the 4th and last floor. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped, and very pleasant, you immediately feel at home. A big thank you to Pauline for her responsiveness and flexibility, especially for my late arrival. I recommend it without hesitating!
