The cabin is close to Hvalfjörður, Hvammsvík Hot springs, Glymur (Iceland's tallest waterfall), Thingvellir (30 min), Golden Circle and Snæfellsnes (170 km). Great opportunity to see the Northern lights if weather allows.

The Kamburinn cottage is located in a small village called Hveregardi in the south-west of Iceland, a 40-minute drive from the capital, which will allow you to easily visit the attractions on the Golden Circle route. This village is popular for its phenomenal hiking trails, one of them is Reykjadalur Hot Springs. The cabin is in a secluded location in a mountainous area which allows you to see fantastic views of the Northern Lights, decorated cozy with everything you need during your stay.

Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. 5 minutes from the city centre of Hafnafjörður, where you will find everything you might need. Very centrally located; Keflavik Airport 35 minutes, Blue Lagoon 35 minutes, Reykjavik city centre 25 min. Relax after a busy day in front of the fireplace and / or the salt water hot tub, whilst enjoying the northern lights.

The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Good location for day trips to Snæfellsnes and the Golden Circle. During the winter time is a good chance of seeing the Northern lights (Aurora Borealis).

It has a simple but well equipped kitchen, electric heating and shower. It is ideal for groups of 4 or 5 but can accommodate up to 7 guests if utilizing the double sofa bed in the living area.
