House holiday rentals in Ribeira Brava

We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

The house was a wonderful place for us and our family. Plenty of room and the kitchen was very well equipped. The view was spectacular and the pool and patio were an excellent spot to relax.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, pristine, peaceful home. Well equipped kitchen. Maria has thought of everything. The outside space was really great, plenty of space to enjoy the pool along with the outside kitchen BBQ. We walked to the botanical gardens which was 10 minutes away. Two small supermarkets and bakery 3 minutes walk from the house. We walked in Funchal several times and caught a taxi home. Lovely climate and beautiful surroundings.

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The house is extremely clean and matches the pictures perfectly. We even had freshly stocked groceries when we arrived which was a huge plus after 3 long flights. This location is so close to many delicious restaurants and the beach. We absolutely loved the pool and sun bed. 10/10 recommend!!! We already want to plan another trip back 🩷 THANK YOU!

The location of the accommodation was perfect for exploring the city and for excursions, the view is breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed by Fernando. The villa is situated in a beautiful and quiet location, offering amazing views and a lovely pool that's perfect for cooling down. You can really feel the warm hospitality of the host right away. During our stay, we had a small issue with the toaster, and Fernando replaced it immediately — a great example of his attentiveness and care. We had a peaceful and relaxing time, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway. Please note that the ascent to the house is quite steep, but this is completely normal given the island's topography — and the views are well worth it! Highly recommended. Everything perfect! Agnieszka is a very hard-working, attentive and warm hostess! The Airbnb was sparkling clean and equipped with absolutely EVERYTHING you could need. She even took the time to show the somewhat more delicate journey to the Airbnb, but that is not a problem later if you are a good driver.😉 In the middle of banana trees, you have your peace and can enjoy the roof terrace for yourself. We stayed nine days in Quinta do Mar and absolutely loved it - stunning view over the mountains and the sea from the terrace. The apartment is very well equipped and makes for a convenient, relaxed accommodation. The location of the Airbnb is great to get to Funchal and into hiking areas and the Northwest of Madeira but you need a rental car to reach it easily. Dylan is super friendly and helpful, and sent detailed instructions before the arrival. The check-in is easy and flexible. Absolute recommendation for a beautiful stay in Madeira!

This is once of the most beautiful villas we have stayed at. The pictures do not do it justice. The open plan space is lovely and the views are stunning. Emanuel was an excellent host, and responded immediately with any queries we had. I will definitely be coming back to this villa with other members of my family.

Gorete and her daughter Joana made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. It's a beautiful apartment with everything we needed, and a fantastic view towards the sunset from the balcony. We're very keen hikers and were pleased to find two beautiful levada walks very close by.

Fantastic place at a great price. So many spaces to enjoy. Pristine condition. We really enjoyed the local restaurants and bars up the hill, amazing atmosphere. Very close to main roads so day trips are easy. Carlos was the perfect host, so many local recommendations and information. He was flexible when we wanted to check in some hours earlier than agreed. All the different keys were a bit confusing but otherwise loved the place.

Richard warmly welcomed us and showed us the accommodation, as well as gave us tips for excursions. There was a folder with more information and tips in the accommodation. He was always easy to reach and responded immediately. We had a wonderful stay. The house looks like the pictures and everything was very clean and well maintained.

5*. View is just stunning. Nothing compares. 10 mins away from Levada do Moinho. Very amazed by the location

This location made it very easy to walkto buy groceries and worked well for travelling around the island. The outside dining area became our favourite spot. Luis was very responsive. He was also proactive in informing us about some road closures that would affect us. We would definitey recommend this location and would stay again oursleves. (There is a church bell behind which helpfully wakes you up at 7:00 am.)

A nice and clean apartment with a very nice view - we had a great stay :) Tip: drive up the road to the house from above as it is very steep and narrow - the parking space is not for big cars😉

Scott’s place is a great place, not only because the back porch gave an EXCELLENT view, but there was a bus stop right outside the gate! Waking up and coming back to the gorgeous ocean view made our stay worth every penny!

Comfortable and very functional apartment located in Ponta do Sol, very well located for visiting the island. Accessible by car only Fanny was impeccable. She lives above the rented apartment. We did not test the very nice pool which was at a good temperature but in the shade at the end of the afternoon when we returned. On the other hand, breakfast in the sun facing the sea view

A big thank you to José, we had a perfect stay in his accommodation which is located in a very quiet environment, the view is magnificent, the accommodation is impeccable and well located on the island. This is the best BnB air we've stayed in. It has all the essentials for cooking which is very nice. Our arrival was done independently, the exchanges with José were very warm and his instructions very clear. We would highly recommend José's place! Thank you again!
