Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Rice Lake

We originally booked this place fully intending to explore town the night before a wedding. But we quickly decided to have a night in. Loved this place because: -The bed was very comfy, and I found it easy to go to sleep. -It is RIGHT across the street from the Mayo Clinic, great for guests who are receiving care. -The distance to downtown is walkable and the walk is scenic. -The layout works really well for socializing with family. -The kitchen was well prepared for cooks. Hope to stay again and see Eau Claire.

My son just graduated from UWEC and over the last few years Ive stayed at a few of Lauras rentals. Each time has been perfect. The house is always clean quiet and well kept.

Joan was an amazing host! Hadn’t a hand written note when we checked in letting us know a few things and even had a britta pitcher of filtered water! The space was cozy and the outdoor space was beautiful! Even though it’s technically connector to the main house we never heard them once during our weekend stay! We will definitely be back for another weekend stay to hopefully enjoy the area more! Thanks so much!

The home was definitely a home away from home. Conveniently located quick on & off the freeway and a short distance to our dog event. Beds were very comfy and plenty of space to air our dogs out. Thank you for sharing your home.

Our family had a lovely weekend. Even though it was rainy, we had plenty of things to pass the time. We took advantage of the pickleball courts and the pool - a great addition to the coziness of the cabin. The owners were communicative and extra helpful to us after we accidentally left some items in the cabin after check out. My mother expressed that she wished she could've stayed all week, and is already making plans to go back next year. I would highly recommend this cozy cabin to anyone looking for a weekend getaway!

my family of 5 drove from Alberta Canada to stay at this cute little water front property, and it was the most adorable little spot to stay. the canoe was accessible, there were smart tv's in the room and living room, full sized kitchen, massive bathroom with laundry (thank you for this). the neighbour's were quiet, the neighborhood friendly and walkable and the water piping hot AND drinkable for being on a lake (drinkable water is a huge bonus if your on a lake). The manager was very friendly and super responsive, easy access and beautiful waters all around. we would absolutely stay here again.

Brooke was a fabulous hostess for us and a very prompt communicator before and during our stay. The house was clean, well maintained, and check in was easy upon arrival. The check out instructions were simple and easy to follow. I would say the house sleeps 8 adults very comfortably with 3 fun bedrooms, a loft, and a dayroom off the pool; we squeezed in 10 and it was sufficient. We had plenty of bathroom space for all the ladies, which was a plus! The hot tub and pool were wonderful amenities. The price felt a bit high but it was a fabulous, well-worth it choice for our bachelorette who loves all things vintage.

This was a great place to stay for a weekend getaway. We cooked out, roasted s’more’s, played a round of golf, and went for a nice walk. It fit 8 people comfortably and the gaming area was fun for everyone. We did not get a chance to use the sauna but it looked nice inside. We were all very happy with the stay.

Perfect, pet-friendly, weekend getaway! Admittedly, the fenced-in backyard and pool was the draw for us. But the house is absolutely beautiful, and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. Rob was very responsive prior to our visit. And made the home inviting, with lights on and music-playing when we arrived. Private, peaceful and relaxing stay. Thank you, Rob! Look forward to a return visit.

Linda's place was fantastic - as was Linda. She was incredibly responsive and worked really hard to get the pool up and running as quickly as possible during our stay (a gift considering the unusually hot weather we had in early May during our stay). The house was immaculate and had everything we needed in terms of kitchen supplies, toys for the kids, linens, and plenty of spaces for people to relax and unwind. We loved it so much we are hoping to either return to Linda's place one day or get a place of our own in Chippewa Falls.

Despite this being the 2nd year in a row without snow, we had a great time at this cabin! The space was perfect for our extended family. We enjoyed hiking on the trails right outside the back door. We had them all to ourselves! The fish fry at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. The pool, sauna and work out room were fabulous! I highly recommend this place.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. The cabin was clean and stocked with all the essentials. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and exploring the area.

My niece and her family stayed in the bunkhouse for a local family event and enjoyed their stay immensely. I communicated with Courtney about possible early check-in and the option to gather around the beautiful firepit in the evening with extended family, and Courtney was gracious to allow and responded quickly to our requests. I highly recommend the Bunkhouse for a quiet and peaceful get-away.

Great place to spend a get away,enjoyed my stay there weather was fantastic my kids enjoyed the snow.I really recommend this place

We came up for trout fishing, and Jim was helpful by having a map ready and some of the local spots within minutes of the place, and great fishing. Having the owners close but still very private with the way it is all set up was nice, able to walk out the door and wander the trails. Jim had firewood all split dry and ready to go even kindling perfect for the nice fire just out the side doors. Great stay and great host.

JoEllen's place was great and she was such a wonderful host. The location was perfect for what we needed it to be. We will definitely be back again!

A nice little cabin to use when we visited our family in WI. It had what we needed for a short trip with two adults, an infant and a dog. The blankets and pillows were comfortable and soft on the bed, the kitchen had almost everything we needed to make meals. It was an easy place to get to coming from MN and not far from town when we needed something. Hoping to return in the summer to take advantage of the lake access with our dog

Deidra & Nick were great hosts, very responsive, flexible with check in time. Had things in sensible spots and when I couldn't find something helped right away. We were here during the week, and it was remarkably quiet and peaceful. My kids really enjoyed that there were so many cozy spots inside and outside too. The firepit was a big hit, and lunch time s'mores and hot dogs were so easy with their set up. Everything was well stocked and easy to find. All of the beds were so comfortable. We're already planning our next trip back.

Beautiful garden and grounds. Right on a lake. Quiet and easy.
