Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Riebeek-Kasteel

We had a lovely stay at Werner's place as two families with 5 adults and 3 kids. The space was the perfect size. Not too big that we felt disconnected from each other, but also not so small that we felt we were in each other's space. It's also a beautiful location, and just a few minutes walk to a winery. Very well stocked in terms of crockery and glassware. Will definitely book again!

Colettes place was exactly what we needed to get away from the city's hustle and bustle. It was so peaceful. There were so many toys my daughter could play with and very child friendly which I appreciate. The place was clean and very neat. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

The area is peaceful and safe, with plenty of open space for kids to play and explore. Inside, the house is both cozy and well-equipped. The bedding was especially nice—fresh, clean, and super comfortable, which made for restful nights after busy days. One of our favorite features was the fireplace, which made the winter evenings feel extra special and added to the overall cozy atmosphere. The kitchen deserves a special mention—spacious, modern, and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook for the whole family. It made preparing meals together a real pleasure. This place strikes the perfect balance between comfort and practicality. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing break or a fun-filled family retreat, it’s an excellent choice. We just left Cape Town and our stay at Gareth’s beautiful home overlooking the beach below. It was even better than the photos! We woke to an amazing view of the sun rise each morning! The beds are super comfy and the rooms bright and airy during the day. Such an incredible experience. We loved being south of downtown Cape Town with easier access to Boulders Beach and Cape of Good Hope. We could have enjoyed spending an entire week soaking it all in. We would recommend this home to anyone visiting. It was also super safe secluded on the hillside with a secure garage and gated pathway to the home and off the beaten path.

Great accommodation. The place is beautiful. I would stay again anytime. Very responsive host. Walkable to Main Street restaurants and the grocery store.

A wonderful space and lovely hosts. We had a really, really enjoyable visit. The location is perfect. Quiet but close to everything, we walked up and down the Main Street many times! The space is lovely, we were able to open up the doors to the winter sun. Will return!!

One of the most stunning airbnb’s I have stayed in!!! The photos are gorgeous, but in person is even better. The sunsets here are unmatched, the outdoor space is larger than what we imagined, and the inside is cozy with lots of amenities! The tap water is safe to drink and the security to the place was great. The driveway is quite steep but we got our rental car up it no problem! Anthony was fantastic and always answered so fast! He was very kind, friendly, and helpful. Thank you so much!

Fabulous place, location, and hosts. I highly recommend both. Kalk Bay is all charm. The apartment, top floor, has a wonderful view of the ocean and hills. Stunning. Easy secure walking into town. Lynne and Luiz are the best. The apartment is perfect in everyway: the bathtub overlooks the hills and with the sound of the ocean is all peace and comfort.

Great experience. Good support from hosts. Clean and well-equipped. A bit off the beaten track, so a car is needed, but in a tranquil and safe part of Durbanville. Can recommend.

We had a wonderful stay with Marelize and Dawie! The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The unit was perfect, spacious and the fireplace was a big bonus for us. The location is absolutely perfect and ideal for anyone wanting to visit Franschhoek and all the surrounding wine farms. 100% would recommend!

What a beautiful apartment with amazing views 🤩. The sunrise over the mountain was so spectacular. I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely apartment. Picasso always there to assist with anything. What a lovely host. Will definitely come back.

I never go to the same Airbnb as I want to try out a new place each time but goodness me, this place? I will return to it over and over again. The deco, the space, the view, the comfort, the safety, the list is endless! A real home away from home. So serene and peaceful, the perfect place to unwind and take in all the beauty of Cape Town without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

What a amazing Airbnb experience with Tacha! She welcomed me and we immediately felt like old friends. She gave me a ton of great tips. The house is just amazing, beautiful decor, comfy bed and bedsheets, the view is amazing some days I could smell the sea water! You can walk everywhere or get a uber it always like 5$ for a 10-15 min drive. You should definitely book it 👍🏽

This place has been on our bucket list for the past year and finally our time to experience it. This place can only be described as a 5star experience where the attention to detail is at the top of this hosts list. The natural pool even though it was winter was the perfect cold plunge! Nestled against the outer edges of the town, it was the perfect retreat for my wife and I to connect! Thank you so very much for hosting us

The property is out of a dream, gorgeous views, watching sunrises from the pool area while having breakfast was the highlight of our stay, one of the best homes we’ve stayed in, it’s alittle far from town but they’re still quite alot you can do around the area, Debbie our host was such an Angel, always eager to assist when we needed anything although the house gets quite chilly in the evenings but there’s a fire place and heater to keep you warm, plus heated blankets. Overall had an amazing time

Allen's home on Clifton beach was perfect for our family of 7. Unbelievable views of the beach with amazing windows to view from most every room. I could have stayed there a year. Amos, the in-house keeper, was amazing at the household duties and we enjoyed seeing him around the property. We will be back and we will recommend this amazing place.

Table Mountain Villa is so special - the house feels like a treehouse and is beautifully and thoughtfully laid out. The views of the city are sensational, sunrise through moonrise, with the mountains dramatically rising up on the other side. The house flows between spaces and feels both cozy and airy. It was our home base for adventuring all around Cape Town with our kids while also participating in a professional conference. The location was convenient and we felt well prepared with suggestions for food shops and hikes (out the back gate!) We absolutely loved the house and our time here, and the entire team was so welcoming and helpful. I hope we can make another visit. Thank you for sharing this special place.
