Caserío Aurrekoetxe

Aurrekoetxe is a typical Basque farmhouse in the Mañaria area that is over 300 years old. Located below Mount Mugarra, on its southern face, it is surrounded by nature adjacent to the Urkiola Natural Park and just 2 km from the urban center of Mañaria. I live with my mother and my two daughters aged 14 and 11 in the same building but with another separate entrance, respecting the privacy of the guests and our own. We'll be happy to help you with whatever you need.

A nest in the mountains

Tucked on a wild fertile mountain a 400 year old barn was renovated by artists with natural materials. It is crooked, it is colourful, it is wild and will throw you in an another universe for the time of your stay. You have to be nimble on your feet as the tiny access path is crooked and on a slope, and even the floor in the house tilted. A full immersion in a new world for total disconnection.

1906 house fully renovated in 2017, overlooking La Rioja. It consists of: - 2 bedrooms with a 1.50 m bed, sofa bed, bathroom and TV - 2 bedrooms, each with two 1.05 m beds, bathroom and TV - 1 bedroom with a 1.05m bed, an adapted bathroom and a TV - Living room, dining room and kitchen - Wifi available throughout the house. The tree house was born from our dream of building a magical space near the forest where we live! The house lives with a young oak tree, it is also in front of the large beech forest and you can hear the river that passes right in front.
