The water is rich in fish and boat or canoe can be rented. Outdoor enthusiasts will also appreciate the many hiking opportunities in the area.

The cabin is located in a new and family friendly cabin area approximately 10 minutes car or boat ride away from Risør city centre. There is a car road all the way up to the cabin and parking area 4 cars on the plot. Good hiking areas in nearby, e.g. hiking trail along the coast into Risør city center and hiking trail to Fransåsen.
