Holiday rentals with lake access in River Medway

What a beautiful place to stay - right next to a nature reserve, with the oyster catchers and curlews calling at night and wildlife wandering into the garden. But also very close to pubs, coffee shop and the sea. Great if you like birds, wildlife and peace and quiet.

What a fabulous couple of days we have had at Aimee's place! Aimee was wonderful to deal with, answering any questions in super quick time and so very friendly on meeting us. Such a unique place to stay - absolutely love the way Aimee has done her beautiful home up - we felt so comfy and so enjoyed the boat trips, visits from the gorgeous geese and swans, cats and meeting lovely Bob next door. We felt gutted that we only had a couple of days of our trip left - as would have loved to stay longer and explore more of the area. How lucky are we that Aimee shares her adorable place with us!!! A very beautiful and unique haven in the countryside. We loved the remote woodland location and spent an idyllic couple of days here relaxing together as a small family. The accommodation had plenty of room for the four of us and we loved being close to nature for a few days enjoying woodland walks on our doorstep. We had everything we needed to cook nice meals and all slept well in the comfortables beds and quiet setting. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of ducks on the lake. James was a great host and very quick to get back to us when we had a query. We'll definitely come back.

Beautiful place, with amazing views. Quiet and well equipped. We slept well, had wonderful walks along the beach with unspoiled views. The Snack Shark was a gem, we had delicious and fresh seafood for lunch. Also bought some scallops, potatos, asparagus and local pear juice for dinner. The host even provided fresh milk, flowers and grapes, well received upon our arrival. Thank you for a lovely stay.

beautiful home and garden. we were lucky with the weather so spent most of our time outdoors, walking around the pond, spotting deer in the woods, watching the ducklings and bees and soaking up the countryside. the large bbq was an excellent addition, as was the fire pit. thank you for a lovely stay.

Booked this apartment as it was convenient to get to for a film shoot we had at London Excel. Pictures and description matched perfectly, Faisal was super responsive to all of my questions, and we’ll definitely stay here again when the need arises. Great accommodation in a perfect location!

Nina’s apartment is a lovely spot, right next to the Excel Centre and City Airport. Planes can be easily heard when outside or when the tv is off. The neighbourhood seems nice and friendly, we ate in the chicken shop which I would recommend to anyone staying. All the amenities you would need in a hotel room style accommodation. Will be staying here again if we go back to the area!

Excellent location for O2 events and site seeing in London. The location was not busy, quiet day and night, with a light city buzz of traffic and trains in the background. It felt very safe and secure. Flat was clean, tidy, and everything you'd expect it to be and more. Hosts were lovely and very accomadating. If you are driving in there is a bonus of free secure parking nearby, so do check with the host for availability before booking your own. Plenty of transport options also, DLR (Royal Victoria), Underground (Canning Town), IFS Cable Car over Thames, and Uber Clipper boats. If you do need to be other side of river e.g. O2, getting an Uber Clipper Boat, North Greenwich underground, would recommend the Cable Car there is 10 one-way journeys for £17 per person. If you're looking for a few nights in London, I would definitely recommend this.

A very cosy flat, nice area. Lovely surroundings . Flat is just as described and shown in photos, very nice modern and clean. Julie is an ideal host, very friendly and responsive. The static caravan is very well equipped with a kitchen, 2 toilets, one with shower, and a sizeable lounge /dining area. Would book again. David Maxwell

The place was really nice and the urbistay team were so nice and helpful! We had some problems that lead us to arriving after the check-in time but they were so understanding and helped us check-in in another way! The apartment was also very clean and pretty!

Olivia was amazing from my first message. My daughter and her friend were stranded in London after a hotel messed up their booking. She was quick to respond and allowed the last minute booking, meaning my daughter had somewhere safe to stay after a concert at O2. I am beyond grateful for her help and swift responses. Thank you. Will definitely stay here again for the O2.

Panzani is the absolute best, super polite and responsive, answered all questions my partner and I had before booking. She even gave us loads of information about the surrounding area and things to do. Panzani would check in on us, to make sure all is well and we are having a good time which was very sweet, it felt like we had known her for years and were staying at a friends. Her home is absolutely beautiful, exactly like the pictures, lovely decor and super clean. I had told her that she should definitely do interior design, her taste is exquisite! We really enjoyed our stay and sure that anyone else would also enjoy. Thank you Panzani for everything! You are awesome sauce ☺️

We loved our stay at Chris’ place. The location is perfect for exploring the Sussex countryside (Petworth, Ridgeview etc all nearby). The house was clean and well equipped, and Chris was communicative throughout. Highly recommend for a relaxing escape from the grind with friends or family - with the added bonus of a village pub in spitting distance!

This was our 2nd stay at the cottage and we felt very at home there. It is a peaceful location to return to after attending the Eastbourne Tennis and and easy drive into Eastbourne.

Our stay at the cottage was exactly what we required. The location was ideal, the surroundings and grounds were great. The accommodation was great and Jo was a very responsive host. I would recommend the cottage as a great place to stay.

The location was great - Camber Sands beautiful beach is less than 10 mins walk away. The nearest town, Rye, is a few mins drive - it is picturesque with lots to see and some pretty, independent shops and nice restaurants. The accommodation was one of the best I’ve rented on Airbnb. It was comfortable, tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean and tidy, and spacious. Everything worked, it was well equipped, and the view out over the fields at the back of the property was awesome. The hosts were great too - proactive, welcoming, responsive and easy-going. Clearly experienced and considerate of what people are looking for from their stay. Overall 10/10 and I might go back!!

Such a lovely Airbandb in the middle of the English countryside! Lambs and resident horses graze next to the barn with fresh air and kind hosts. The barn is renovated with thought - both a bath and shower - open kitchen plan and loads of light. We enjoyed every minute and thank Andrew for his kindness.

Safe to say was an amazing stay and couldnt have picked a better place to stay. Great cottage and to have a swimming pool as well topped it all off. Would highly recommend to anybody.
