Historic country house, almost exclusively yours!

We only take one booking at any one time, so whether you are 1 person or 4 you will have the house to yourselves, apart from the two of us, our friendly dogs and lazy cat. A large, bright double room with modern ensuite shower and/or twin room with private bathroom. The games room, is yours to relax in away from us, with a wood burning stove which we light in the evenings. You are welcome to use our kitchen to cook evening meals, but we will provide a delicious breakfast to start your day.

Bookeen Hall is a 200 year old restored church about 20 mins from Galway City and within easy reach of the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and Connemara. We are a short drive from Lignum (restaurant). We offer a private room (with 1 king size bed and 1 single bed) with a private bathroom. For larger groups there is a second room (with 1 king size bed), so we can accommodate up to 5. The nearest train station is 8 miles away in Athenry. We live here with our dogs and look forward to meeting you!
