Our cabin is rustic yet enchanting. Hand-built in 1947, Longacres is the perfect cozy place to unplug and unwind. But if you need high-speed internet, you’ve got it! Old Town Manteo is a charming harbor town where you will feel far from the beach boxes and OBX crowds. Longacres is 1 mile from downtown, a 5 minute walk to the Roanoke Sound and a 12 minute drive to the Nags Head beaches. To complete your adventure, we provide bikes and kayaks so you can explore the water and town at your own pace.

We take great strides to make sure it is super clean and well maintained. Our goal is to provide a space for complete relaxation. The cottage and outdoor spaces are very private. There is a patio area with outdoor seating as well as a screened porch. Listen to the wind chimes and birds. Enjoy the flowers.

Grill out on the patio, relax on the covered porch or take a bike ride on along the Sound. Boat ramp nearby (0.5 miles).

We have created this cottage as a place for couples, remote workers, small families or friends seeking a unique space unwind. The space is decorated in nautical theme with collectibles & décor we hope you will enjoy. Stay with us relax, and enjoy Manteo's charm. Harmony Hut

Welcome to the Harmony Hut on the beautiful Outer Banks. We are centrally located in Kill Devil Hills. Less than a half mile to the beach and only several blocks to the sound. Grocery stores, restaurants and bars are all close by. There are bikes available in the shed out back to take a pleasant evening ride. After a long day on the beach, enjoy the private shower out back. I've lived on the beach for nearly 30 years. If you have any questions, just ask!
