Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Roanoke Island

Andy's place was quiet and peaceful. Close to all Manteo offers and just a short drive over the bridge to Nags Head restaurants and shopping. Beds were comfortable and house was clean. Everything you need to cook was supplied. Nice big private yard (not fenced). We enjoyed our stay and it fit our needs perfectly.

Wonderful place and very pet friendly. The location of the house on a beach access point/path was such an important benefit that I had not realized when booking the house (I did not know that there were specific beach access points and if you were not on a beach path, you had to walk to one and then head east to get to the beach) The beach cart and all of the beach accessories were terrific (shibuni, chairs, towels, cooler, beach mat, toys, bikes ect.) no need to pack/bring anything for the beach with you! Thanks for a great stay!

this house was extremely convenient for going to the beach, especially considering it came with a cart to haul all your chairs and beach things… such a short walk to the ocean! we loved our stay, nothing we’d change!

We had a great three night stay, my three adult children and I. The beach was surprisingly almost ours to ourselves. For an older traditional OBX house, it was well updated and very well appointed. The central floor plan is very open. I love it when you can be in the kitchen cooking while talking to everybody in the living area and those around the dinner table at the same time. Awesome view of the ocean off the back deck. We sat in the hot tub and still see the ocean. Im sometimes leary of hot tubs at the beach, a lot of times they are not well maintained. Danielle's was spotless and the water chemistry was perfect and safe. There was absolutely nothing we needed or any place where we needed to go that was not within a 5-minute drive. All of my family are fisherman. if you like to fish, there's not a better place to stay. getting from the house to the beach to surf fish takes less than a minute. we walked up to the OBX Pier several times to fish, probably less than a 5 minute walk.

This place is perfect! Tucked away from the touristy areas, yet only 7 mins to beaches. House is kept in immaculate condition, even the garage was clean and able to keep my car in there. We loved that they left a pamphlet of their favorite places and we hit a few of them, and they were indeed awesome. If we head back to Duck, we will be booking Chloes Cottage again!

Great place for small family or two couples. Space was well decorated and cared for, very clean. Great fenced in backyard.

Perfect location with a short walk to the beach! Also very close to restaurants and sights to see. Alison was very easy to work with and had all the amenities for the perfect beach trip. We were happy to call her place home for a few days!

Wonderful hosts and space was perfect, i never, ever book pet friendly spaces so I was a little worried about my allergies, but the space was spotless. Thank you for sharing your home.

We loved that we were able to walk to the beach and to the bay. Also loved the beach parking pass to give us the option to drive to the beach. We used the beach chairs, boogie boards and bicycles and all of them were fantastic! Very comfortable house, felt right at home there. Perfect house for a family to use. Also very helpful that Target, Publix and tons of restaurants were very close.

Dana and her co Host was amazing we had the best few days of vacation possible in the outer banks 100% recommend Dana’s place we will for sure be back next year and anytime we go to obx !

Our family had a great vacation. The house was beautiful with plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all of us!! The house is private but very close to the beach, dunes, restaurants and shops. Would definitely love to visit again!

This is an excellent location for the entire Outer Banks. Recommendations on things to do and places to eat were very good. The automatic lights for taking the dog out at night were perfect. Check in/out instructions were very detailed. Jenna & Tim were great hosts. Lots of amenities and great layout. Lots of fans, lighting and outlets. We would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. When we return to the Outer Banks this will be the first place we look for availability. We had such an amazing time here! She was quick to respond and the place was beautiful! The backyard was perfect for our toddler to play in and I really appreciated that there was a baby gate for upstairs. We will definitely be coming back!

Such a great location and apt. Super cute and lots of kitchen equipment for making something at home or reheating leftovers. Close to downtown Manteo which was super fun. Love the beach island vibes of it all. The property is awesome. Very dog and kid friendly.

The house was in a great area, really close to the beach and really spacious. Our hosts were really kind and responsive to anything we needed. I would definitely come back and stay.

A wonderful place for my husband and I to stay! RIGHT on the beach. House was exactly as described and matched the pictures. Bobbie was extremely helpful with the check in/out process. We arrived very late at night and they had the house unlocked for us to ease the process. My family has been vacationing in Nags Head for decades and this is definitely somewhere we will be adding to our rental list! The only thing I would add is maybe some board games/cards. We had a full day of thunderstorms with not a whole lot to do. Wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kathryn’s place. It was the perfect location for our trip to the Outer Banks. We appreciated how dog friendly the place was - being able to rinse the dogs off in the outdoor shower was very convenient. Our hosts were kind and responsive, and we highly recommend this stay!

Amy made sure to communicate regularly from the moment I booked. She made all instructions very clear and when I reached out with any questions she was quick to respond.

Just a few steps from the beach, this place was the PERFECT stay for our little group. Four adults, a toddler, an infant, and a dog all stayed and we weren’t over crowded at all. The tile floors make clean up super easy and it’s within walking distance of multiple restaurants. We would love to stay here again on our next trip!

We were in Manteo for my daughter’s wedding. Staying at the Croatan Cottage made the whole experience that much more special. This house takes you back in time. Sitting on the front porch was relaxing. I loved that it was close to everything. This was our first time using an Airbnb. Dee made it very easy & stress free. I would highly recommend Croatan Cottage & plan to come back soon.

The home was clean and instructions were very easy to follow. Since we were looking for a peaceful location on this trip, it fit the bill. The view was worth the cost. We knew there would be others around, as it was described accurately and clearly as a condo community. Supplies were very sufficient for us, and the owners were responsive. Enjoyed this trip!

Mom's place was perfect for me. Quiet, friendly, comfortable and easy to check in and out. Barb and everyone that I talked to was so nice. I pray that Mojo (her dog) is better! I was so busy with my grandson's wedding that I didn't get to visit much, but I loved every minute that I was there. Thank You for sharing your home with me! I loved your town!! So much to see!! The sunset on the beach was fantastic!

We enjoyed our recent stay at Jane’s loft. We found it to be clean and comfortable with plenty of natural light. We enjoyed strolling through the quaint town of Manteo and the waterfront, its unique shops and restaurants - Poor Richard’s was my favorite. The Charis coffee shop downstairs is a pleasant Bonus!

Misty's place was a great home away from home. It was comfortable and the home utilized the space well. We ate in for most meals and enjoyed the dining table that was great for meals and games. Our son performs at The Lost Colony and it was close by, so we enjoyed time with him and watching him perform. My in-laws joined us for Part of the trip and my other children joined us for part of the trip. It was a great home away from home with so many places to go nearby. Misty was so responsive and helpful!
