Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Roath

we stayed at 'Sheiling' for 2 nights for my partners birthday and we were not disappointed!, this property is immaculate & very peaceful, the facilities at Sheiling are second to none, everything you could need for your stay is provided, even a bottle of prosecco 2 bottles of beer & milk were left for us which was greatly appreciated. There was excellent communication between us & Jane the host. We had such a relaxing time especially in the hot tub and our first night we were visited by a fox in the garden when we were in the hot tub which was a wonderful treat! we will definately be back!

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting, look no further! This is honestly the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. The house is gorgeous and beautifully decorated and was completely spotless. The furniture and beds were so comfortable. Phil and Stig were so welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! We are already planning to come back next year. Thank you so much for everything!

We loved our stay in this very cosy and peaceful house! The beach nearby is super close and the kids enjoyed looking out for fossils and playing in the tar and the waves. We appreciated all the recommendations given by Bronwen in the house files. The house is lovely, very well decorated and cosy. And to quote my son as he entered the bathroom "wow, this is very clean!". Thanks again 😊

Tom was a great host from the moment we booked. Communication was easy and he was always on hand to answer any questions we had. The house is just perfect, everything we needed. Katrina and Dave have a lovely place up on the hill at Bleadon. Great views towards the sea and fantastic for wildlife. The cottage is very well specified and high quality and I cant think of anything missing. Bifolds open up to maximise the view. We actually stayed in a lot more than we planned and enjoyed a relaxing week

Loved staying here. It is on a quiet street, close to a park and the river. The cottage is really well equipped and designed, with everything you need for a long weekend. There’s a wood burner and other heating if you need it - very cosy and secure!

We stayed at Harriet’s place for my sister’s hen weekend. The pictures don’t do the place justice, it was absolutely beautiful! The kitchen was a great size for socialising and the garden/patio area was perfect for summery evening drinks. The location was so peaceful but also really close to the city centre. Would 100% recommend!

Daniel’s place is lovely - charming with lots of interesting features, and plenty of space for a large group of 19 of us. The kitchen is well equipped, living areas are spacious, and there are plenty of bathrooms. Everything was very clean and tidy, but it didn’t feel clinical or bland like a lot of AirBnBs - it still feels very much like a house that is lived in, which is great. There’s a good parking space out the back, however bear in mind that the access road is narrow and the corner is tight - the parking space itself can accommodate 3-4 small cars but it takes a bit of manoeuvring to get them in!

This was a family stay with elderly mum so the ground floor and general access was excellent. parking right outside. super clean. Sean was very accommodating to our needs and delivered everything we asked. loved that we had tea, coffee, milk,biscuits, sugar, ect also soap, towels shower gel, washing up liquid cleaning products. this all makes a lovely touch. Quiet ,so sleeping not an issue. would highly recommend.

Fab location and home from home

We had a peaceful and relaxing three nights at Emma's place. It overlooks a small pond and is surrounded by trees. Abergavenny is a close drive by, as is the three castle route. The host was responsive and kind - and we were welcomed by a bottle of wine and fresh eggs in the fridge, and some absolutely delectable chocolate truffles. Our dog was with us - he had to be convinced of the stairs but quickly learned how to use them. It also helped that the host has provided extendable child gates. Highly recommend the place!

Very clean, comfortable, lovely space. Much bigger than I was expecting! The first air BnB we’ve stayed in where I want to make a special mention about the beds. They were amazingly comfortable. I struggle to sleep usually in beds that aren’t my own but these beds were spot on. Easy check in and parking space was a great plus point.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alison's - thank you for having us! The spacious apartment has obviously been recently furnished, and it was extremely clean. There was everything we needed, with a very comfortable bed with high quality bed linen. Thank you for the generous welcome basket, which was ideal for our breakfasts, and we enjoyed the biscuits too! All in all we thought it was excellent, and a great location for visiting St Fagans and our Cardiff cousins. Thank you very much to Alison and Luigi, and we hope to stay with you again.

At the top of the steep staicase, the spacious and super clean appartment has everything you could wish for to make your stay in Weston relaxing. A short walk to the friendly seaside town with lots to entertain you.

I had a great time. It was great. I couldn't stay longer at check-out and I burned myself with dishes unsuitable for the microwave, but this apartment is worth it. Its location and standing are worth it

We loved our stay here. It's a small place but has been perfectly designed to fit everything you need in it. The fold down bed was super comfortable. With the train station walkable and a short train ride to Cardiff, it's an ideal place to use as a base when visiting there. Overall, we would definitely recommend this place, and as we often visit family in Cardiff, we would use again
