Family-friendly holiday rentals in Roath

Victoria was incredibly communicative, couldn’t ask for any more. The property is clearly the family home, in a lovely area of Cardiff - conveniently located for an 8 minute train journey into the city centre.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Lydia was amazing and super response we got stuck in traffic and arrived later than expected but Lydia was still happy to greet us. The hot tub was lovely and warmed up for our arrival 😁Everything we needed was there for us 🙌🏻 We had the most relaxing and peaceful stay to celebrate my partners 40th. Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back 🥰

Great house in the best possible location in Cardiff ideal for a long weekend/break. Sian was extremely helpful, making the arrival process extremely easy and always willing to assist with any request/question that we had. Very happy to recommend the house and host!!!

Fantastic stay, would definitely recommend if you’re ever in Cardiff. Location was spot on, only a 15 minute walk into central. The hot tub was also a lovely touch! 10/10 would recommend

Great location with lovely views. We stayed for our wedding and Lucy was very accommodating with deliveries etc dropping things off in the morning. Lucy's place was very clean and had all the amenities you could want. A great place!

We’ve just returned from the most delightful short break in a beautiful college cottage tucked away in the heart of Wales. The cottage itself was a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort — tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and full of character. Surrounded by rolling hills and the peaceful sounds of nature, it felt like a true escape from the everyday. This little haven gave us the peace and quiet we craved, along with the warmth and welcome of a truly special place. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of our return xx

What a lovely little country retreat, peaceful and restful yet with plenty to do on your doorstep. The walk to the country pub, through the village was a highlight. The kids loved the horses, rope swing and of course jacuzzi. We will definitely stay again.

Very comfortable house. Nice touches with milk, chocolate, shampoo , shower gel. Sports weekend so all accommodation was expensive in Cardiff. House sleeps eight comfortably. Good value with more people.

I stayed with Mike and Bert for two weeks while a house sale went through, I brought with me my high maintenance Bengal cat Kevin Bacon. During our stay Mike has gone out of his way to accommodate us, the accommodation is completely separate and lockable, I felt completely safe, I knew Kevin was secure and didn’t see any red flags. Mike is laid back and approachable, the perfect host. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything I have needed has been included with no extra costs or limitations. Bert is a very good boy and has been trained properly, he doesn’t go upstairs but he will bring you a shoe each time he sees you as a greeting, Bert was completely safe around Kevin when I took Kevin in the garden. There is easy parking at the accommodation and lots to do in the area, lots of walks, castles, stepping stones over rivers, sand dunes, beaches, horse riding and a decent selection of Pubs. If I ever end up homeless again I will be coming back! Thank you.

We’ve stayed in lots of Airbnb places over the years and Oak Farm is up there with the best. We had a fantastic week with Alicia & Chris being excellent and friendly hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay extremely comfortable and they were very generous with their time and the extras they provided. The location is superb with outstanding views across the hills, we spent many happy hours sitting in the Sun loungers reading. It’s also a great location for exploring the wonderful hills around Abergavenny . Our dog loved it too with a secure area of woodland for him to play and explore we would love to return one day and will be recommending this place to our friends and family . Great location, perfect for walks and plenty of options for food and drink. Comfortable, clean and quiet accommodation.

Needed a place to stay for our group of friends to watch the rugby, Danny's place was just what we needed, room for us all, & within walking distance, weather permitting, of millennium stadium, large taxis cheap enough, if not. Like staying at a mate's house but your mate's not there 🤣 Great pub about 10 minutes away, The Lansdowne. Easy check in & out. Danny was very responsive to all our needs.

We had a fabulous three night stay in the patch cottage. Everything was perfect and couldn’t have been any better. As soon as we walked in it felt homely and welcoming; the amenities were great - though we didn’t use them. Weston-super-mare was but a 15-20 minute drive away. I can’t recommend this place enough, I will definitely be back! Thank you! 🫶🏽

Me and my girlfriend both really enjoyed staying here, the views from the hot tub are fantastic, lovely surrounding areas - especially cheddar! Hosts were lovely and helpful, would definitely come back here again. Thanks for having us :)

Brilliant stay for my mothers 60th. House was very spacious and brilliant location. Check in very easy and straight forward. We had an issue with the upstairs water pressure but the maintenance man came out the following morning to look at it. Would definitely come back. We very much loved our stay.

Great little caravan where you'll feel at home. With kids this location was great, loads to do at the park, and the beach is a good stroll away too. The park itself is one of the quieter ones, which is great when you're travelling with family. If you need to stay in this area I would recommend. The local "chefs corner" is a place where I'd only recommend having pizza 😉 but there are magnificent places to eat around here, some are listed in the guidebook in the property. Thanks to Rihanna all aspects of the stay went very smoothly.
