Excellent experience. Giovanni and his mom are two exquisite people, they welcomed us with extreme kindness and immediately made themselves available. The house is a little gem in the old upper town of Castel di Sangro, a very quiet and well-maintained place. The center of the village is a 5-minute drive, but if you are a walker, nothing prevents you from getting there on foot in a maximum of 15 minutes. Recommended!

The accommodation was perfect, great location, close to walks, activities, historic sites and shops. There is a lakeside bar a short walk away. Views from the house looking out to Lake Scanno and the mountains are spectacular! Great hosts, very responsive. We stayed in Francesco's apartment from Thursday to Sunday and we had a great time! The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need, like staying at home! Monticchio is ten minutes from L'Aquila and half anhour from Fonte Cerreto, from which the cable car to Gran Sasso starts. The Gran Sasso is beautiful and, if you like nature, trekking, cycling or horseback riding, the location of the house is optimal to reach the natural attractions of the area. Our stay at Ellen and Gustav’s place will forever stay in our hearts. It was a transformative vacation, so much so that we now dream of creating something similar ourselves, someday, somewhere. The atmosphere, the energy, the style, the history, and the love that have been poured into this place are perfectly blended, making everything feel natural and special. Of course, there are small things that could be improved, but they are nothing compared to the immense sense of peace and well-being that the house and its surroundings provide. Every corner, every piece of furniture, every view, the silence, the beauty of the night atmosphere, everything spoke to us deeply. Laura was a great host, very helpful and present in welcoming us and accompanying us to the house, in showing us the area to park and in the final greetings. There were four of us plus two dogs, we had a great time. Cozy house, heated and equipped with every comfort, built on two levels with two bathrooms, spacious in the right places. It will be a reference point and one more reason to return to Castel di Sangro!

Impeccable stay. Really a house that is small but well maintained and with all the necessary comforts. One slightly uncomfortable thing, but you get used to it, is the bathroom that is small for a person over 1.70m. For the rest, everything is really taken care of in detail. Easy to reach, convenient parking. Warm and well-structured apartment. Thanks to the host Serena who was really courteous, helpful and always responsive to every message. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed for two nights in Federica's accommodation in Colli a Volturno. House surrounded by nature, a few minutes' drive from the town center and from restaurants and services. Giacomo, who handled the check-in, was very kind to give us advice on what to see in the area and was available. The lake of Castel San Vincenzo is about 15 minutes by car from the house. You can park on the street a few steps from the house. For me, it's a fantastic place to relax and visit the surroundings, go hiking or trekking, and the hosts are keen to make you have a great stay by providing everything you need. We loved the terrace and the family of kittens that practically live in the building opposite. Good value for money in general.

The property is in the central area of Villetta Barrea. The mini apartments are very nice and typical....comfortable mattresses, large and clean bathroom. Manuela was very nice and professional.

Short stay in a beautiful and peaceful village in Abruzzo. The house contains everything you need and the garden with pool is very well laid out. The owners are lovely people who also own a restaurant in the center, which we recommend you try.

Nice accommodation with all necessary facilities, a big garden and a magnificent pool. Located in a quiet area with superb views on the surrounding mountains. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Vittorio's place was amazing. The area is even more beautiful than in the pictures, and it really does feel away from it all. The house was very comfortable—Vittorio thought of everything in equipping the house, way beyond the listed amenities. Also, he took care to clean the pool every single morning, and did that super early: we were waking up pretty early ourselves, and we still never saw him do it. As a host, Vittorio was an active communicator and went out of his way to make sure our stay was easy and comfortable. For example, he personally guided us to the house from town, which was not necessary (we found it pretty easy to get around Agnone) but still very helpful. Also, for our kids, this place was a real winner. They didn't want to leave! They had a pool to themselves, got to visit horses everyday, watched fireflies at night, and just had a fun time outside. It was wonderful!

It is a somewhat dated apartment in a very quiet vacation complex. The location is strategic because in a few minutes you can reach the center (with a very safe cycle pedestrian road) but also leave for various excursions or for skiing. The house is comfortable and very clean with everything you need. I was impressed by the kitchen very well stocked with all the utensils, which is not obvious. The bathroom is also clean and functional. The heating works perfectly and the hot water also gave us no problems despite having 7 showers in a row. Last is the spectacular view from the balcony. Highly recommended!

Had a great time on a family trip. This was the second time I stayed at this place!

If you are looking for a quiet and isolated place in the Abbruzzese countryside, this is the ideal place. A few minutes from the sea, and a few minutes from the mountains! Also ideal for reaching historical and religious places in the area! The apartment consists of a very large bedroom, carved out of the ancient walls of the original house, where the arched ceiling takes you back in time. The kitchen is small and limited, but sufficient to prepare a simple meal! Dante and Annalisa are very friendly, attentive to our needs, always available and have also offered access to their countryside and allowed us to pick fruit directly from their trees!

One of my best AirBNB experiences, I slept really well in this lovely apartment. The exterior of the building was quaint and had character but the insides were modern, recently renovated and tastefully decorated. Fontecchio is a small but really charming little village and a great base to explore this corner of Abruzzo. The only thing is that public transport is extremely limited in this kind of rural area so you will have to rent a car if you are thinking of staying in Fontecchio. But otherwise, I rarely give out such great reviews on AirBNB - this is definitely an excellent choice, I truly recommend this place based on my great experience. Every time we encountered a minor issue, Fabrizio and Todd looked into it and took care of it at once, you can't ask for more. Thanks so much for a great holiday.

The house was very comfortable. Spacious and functional. Host available. Pease is lively and very nice, with interesting restaurants, pubs and hiking trails. Worth visiting because it deserves it.

Giancarlo’s place is perfect ,cozy, central and close to the slopes . Giancarlo was very responsive and helped us with all we needed. I definitely recommend his place.

Ornella was a wonderful host, and we loved staying here! The house is about a 35min walk to the top of Pesche, and a 5min drive to Isernia. We have recommended this place to all of our family that will soon visit. Only downfalls of the property: A little cold in the house, but there were plenty of blankets. Also, the water was not very hot, which made showering a bit uncomfortable. All in all, we would definitely stay here again. It’s cozy and quiet, and inconveniently located to everything we wanted to see.

The reception was good, Carmine uses fine tools to communicate pleasantly if you do not speak the same language. The space and surroundings are beautiful.

She gave us excellent directions for check-in and was very caring. The location is ideal for exploring Pescasseroli and its surroundings. We appreciated the tranquility of the place and the possibility of taking pleasant walks. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!
